There’s only days left to watch a popular horror film dubbed ‘better than The Exorcist’ on Netflix.
South Korean movie The Wailing will be removed from the popular streaming service on January 30.
Directed by Na Hong-jin, the highly-rated film stars Kwak Do-won, Hwang Jung-min, and Chun Woo-hee.
It follows the creepy tale of a small village where inhabitants are being plagued by a mystery illness that causes them to kill their families.
The storyline features a policeman who has an infected daughter and tries to investigate the disease to save his family.
The Wailing has received whopping ratings on Rotten Tomatoes and scored a huge 99% on the Tomatometer.

Some viewers have taken to the review site to share their verdict on the popular movie.
One penned: ‘One of the best horror movies I’ve seen in a long time. Well worth a watch if you like South Korean Horror movies – or just generally great slow burner movies that actually go somewhere.
‘Probably my favourite South Korean movie I’ve seen, a couple others to recommend would be Exhuma 2024, Oldboy, Memories of Murder and A Tale Of Two Sisters.’
Another praised: ‘A masterpiece. The most gratifyingly created mood since Kubrick’s The Shining or Mizoguchi’s Ugetsu.’
Someone else said: ‘What a rollercoaster of emotions and plots this film is, truly enjoyable, every scene has a meaning, the cinematography is delightful and the script unfolds a terrific story.’
A fourth compared it to The Exorcist and said: ‘This was everything I wanted but did not get from The Exorcist.
‘In fact you could say it borrows a few elements from The Exorcist, but also from Wilkie Collins novels, 28 Days Later, Shakespeare, and also a dozen plus other sources, and I’m sure many more with which I’m unfamiliar.

‘But none of that matters to how much you will enjoy this movie. Just buckle the F up and enjoy the thrill.
‘Seeing those little nods and references all the way through just adds a really cool metatextual layer, but the movie is 10/10 even if you don’t pick up on a single one.’

However, not everyone was impressed with the horror movie and some shared their disappointment in the reviews.
One wrote: ‘Hated it, didn’t make any sense to me, no proper ending, felt like a waste of time.’
Another said: ‘It’s so long and there are so many anticlimaxes it gets boring. The protagonist alternately bumbles around ignoring people who are trying to tell him what’s going, or shouts at people for not telling him what’s going on sooner.
‘The twist in the last 20 minutes was interesting but it was not worth the two hours it took to get there.’
A third penned: ‘I created an account here just to save somebody from wasting there time watching that movie. Super slow, awkward, silly and somehow overrated here. DO NOT WATCH!’
