Others added: ‘The Recruit is really good. I am watching season 3 to try and remember what happened before the premiere of season 2 but someone tell Netflix 3 YEARS between new episodes is how you kill a show’;
‘I can’t wait for the Recruit this Thursday’; ‘Done with The Night agent, waiting for The Recruit.’
Series one left viewers on a huge cliff-hanger with Owen and Russian ᴀsset Max Meladze (Laura Haddock) locked in a basement by Karolina Lashin AKA Nichka (Maddie Hᴀsson) – a member of the Russian mafia.
Karolina fires her gun at Max, with her fate left unknown, and several other questions left unanswered.
Show creator Alexi Hawley has confirmed that the second series will pick up from where the first left off.
Speaking to Netflix’s Tudum ahead of the launch, Noah said: ‘Owen’s headspace is complete chaos. He has just witnessed Max — the former CIA ᴀsset whom he almost died multiple times trying to protect — get sH๏τ by her daughter Nichka. Owen is wondering how in the hell he is going to survive the next few seconds of his life.
Alexi added: ‘We immediately throw Owen in the deep end, which is where he’s the most fun. It seemed like a great way to start Season 2 — and then we just never let our foot off the gas.
‘Owen knows that if he does not walk away with a win this season, his career is going to be over. He might go to prison.’

The Recruit first premiered in 2022 and saw Noah become entangled in a dangerous new world after starting a new job as a CIA lawyer.
After getting handed boxes of letters from people threatening to expose classified information, he must use his legal knowledge to safeguard the government’s secrets.
His life quickly becomes at stake, after meeting with a woman in prison, who had sent the first line of defence for the United States a menacing ultimatum.
‘Congratulations, you’re being followed by the entire United Nations,’ he’s told after the meeting, before nearly getting sH๏τ at while visiting a storage locker.
