Love Island All Stars fans have voiced their worry for Luca Bish, after he broke down in tears on Monday’s episode, following his fiery row with Scott Thomas. 

The 25-year-old has been visibly emotional several times through the series so far, sparking concerns from viewers that ITV needs to ‘check on his mental state’.

The latest instalment saw the fallout of Scott, 36, and Luca’s explosive argument during Vegas night on Sunday, which ended with Tina Stinnes in tears.

The drama had kicked off when Scott riled up Luca during a game of truth of dare, causing the fishmonger to retaliate by letting slip Scott’s comments that there was something missing with Tina.

In the aftermath, Tina was left heartbroken and embarrᴀssed, while Luca later told his fellow Islanders he was ‘disappointed in myself’ for his comments towards her, adding: ‘My priority is to talk to her today.’

The next morning, he took her for a chat to apologise, saying: ‘I just wanna say, in any scenario, my intention was never to hurt your feelings. I’ve been raised with girls and taught to never hurt a girl’s feelings.

‘As soon as I saw you were upset it was instant regret, I’m sorry for that. It’s not fair, I brought you into that situation, no one else.’

Tina admitted: ‘I was just so blindsided, I thought everything was good and then to hear it in front of everyone… I now have put my walls up and I’ve been hurt in the process.

Luca added: ‘It’s not fair and it wasn’t my place to say it. I don’t expect you to forgive me. You’ve done nothing wrong and any guy in here would be lucky to be with you. I never want to see you cry or upset.’

Tina accepted his apology and the pair shared a hug, with Scott later pulling Luca for a chat to make up as well.

Scott told him: ‘We can re-run the whole situation but I don’t think we need to. I know that you didn’t mean what you said and I’m sorry for winding you up.

‘I’m sad that I brought that side out in you ’cause you’re meant to be my little brother in here.’

The pair shared a hug, with Luca becoming visibly emotional and breaking into tears, as Scott reᴀssured: ‘You’re my bro, I love you. Bro I don’t even deep it. It’s just banter that went too far. I didn’t want to bring that side out of you.’

A tearful Luca added: ‘And I didn’t want to bring that out of you. It’s just because I look up to you in here.’

Scott comforted his friend, saying: ‘Bro lets just forget about it man. We’re not ruining our experience in here, we’re not ruining our brotherhood.’

And while it seemed that amends had been made and friendships patched up, viewers at home were struck with concerns that Luca’s emotions were a sign he was ‘struggling’ and ‘has something else going on’.

It marked the second time he has broken down on the show, after he previously became tearful on last Monday’s episode, as he reflected on how different his journey is to his last time in the villa.

And fans took to social media to demand the producers step in to check in on his mental health, while others said they felt he ‘needs to go home’.

They wrote: ‘Luca is so emotional this season. It’s actually quite worrying how down he seems. Hope the producers are looking after him or present him to a therapist; ‘Is Luca ok mentally? Does he need to talk to someone?’

‘Genuinely worried for Luca, I don’t think he’s in the right frame of mind to be in that Villa.’; ‘does luca need help? all this crying is actually getting me concerned for his wellbeing’.

‘I think Luca is really struggling, feel quite concerned. Hope he gets the support he clearly needs.’; ‘I do feel like something deeper is going on with Luca. He seems depressed’.

‘Producers need to check in with Luca! Mental health check please.’; ‘luca stay crying like either he’s the worlds greatest manipulator or he going through some mental warfare and needs to go home’.

And while it seemed that amends had been made and friendships patched up, viewers at home were struck with concerns that Luca’s emotions were a sign he was ‘struggling’ and ‘has something else going on’

‘I think Luca just needs to go home tbh. He’s been off since day 1’; ‘seriously Luca has something else going on, let’s not forget what happened to others who have been on this tv show’; ‘Uhh do they do mental health checks before the show?’

‘I think the producers need to step in now to help Luca. He’s obviously struggling. He hasn’t been the same this time around it’s like he feels totally flat and has been emotional a few times now. It’s like he’s hurting and needs someone to talk to’; ‘The producers should check on Luca and his mental health’. 

‘someone needs to keep an eye on Luca after this show, he’s hanging on a very thin thread’; ‘Luca is worrying me, theres more going on with him emotionally. I hope he is being taken care of emotionally.’

‘Luca is really struggling in #LoveIsland. It was quite sad to watch. I hope @ITV gives him the help and support he needs.’; ‘Luca seems pretty down. I hope they check on him!’ 

‘Something is definitely wrong with Luca this season. Are we sure he pᴀssed psych completely? Something is off, is no one else worried?’; ‘Its kinda obvious that Luca is depressed…. he shouldn’t be on the show’.

Viewers had previously voiced concerns that Luca ‘looks sad’ and like he ‘doesn’t want to be’ on the show, earlier this month.

And his sister even put out a statement on his Instagram account in response to the comments that the fishmonger seems downcast.

And fans took to social media to demand the producers step in to check in on his mental health, while others said they felt he ‘needs to go home’

In a Q&A on his Stories, one fan questioned: ‘He’s coming across so lovely but can’t help but think he’s sad. Does he want to be there?’ 

In response, his sister Claudia wrote: ‘I definitely don’t think it’s that he ‘doesn’t want to be there’ at all.

‘I think it’s just a case of him knowing he’s not got a romantic connection with anyone in there as of yet, whereas everyone else has gone pretty head first quite quickly.

‘I watch the show like a HAWK and pick up on the little sH๏τs of him messing around and laughing with them all in the background of different scenes which is so reᴀssuring. He is still bringing the one liners – we can’t all smiles 24/7.’

She admitted: ‘He’s surprisingly the biggest overthinker so he’s likely just soooo in his head about being the only one in the villa with no connection. Someone will come in for him I’m sure.

‘Very proud of him for not forcing it for the sake of it and it’s lovely he’s not shying away from his vulnerable side.’ 

The row on Sunday’s show, stemmed from Scott’s admission to the boys that something was missing with Tina, saying: ‘This girl is so good for me and the fact I’m not buzzing p****s me off.’

The others advised him to keep the comment to himself for now, with Luca proposing the boys make a ‘pact’ not to say anything to their partners.

However, when it was Luca’s current partner Grace Jackson’s turn to be asked a truth during Vegas night’s game, Scott laughed and said: ‘I’m not going there.’

Immediately the other Islanders demanded he said what he was thinking, with Scott denying: ‘I’ve not got anything! He’s my boy I’m not going to trigger his missus.’

But Luca was annoyed Scott was suggesting something, saying: ‘Then don’t say it like you’ve got something and then don’t do it. You’ve obviously got something to say. Say it, if you want to go there then go there.’

As tension escalated Scott sH๏τ back: ‘Bro I’m being respectful to you’, but a riled up Luca said: ‘I don’t give a f*** about respectful. Say what you’ve gotta say and that’s it, just f***ing say it!’

This enraged Scott who got up in Luca’s face to say: ‘Who the f*** are you talking to? Are you stupid bro? I’m trying to respectful to you’ as the other tries to pull the boys apart.

The girls tried to calm the raging men down, saying: ‘Stop it, stop it! You’re friends, there’s no need’, but Scott continued: ‘Are you insecure or what? Wow, insecure man.’

As everyone tried to get on with the game, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu dared Luca to kiss someone on the cheek that was in the show for fame.

Luca made a beeline for Scott, saying: ‘I think he wants to get far in here. And that’s why you’re with Tina and you’re not feeling it’.

This enraged Scott who got up in Luca’s face to say: ‘Who the f*** are you talking to? Are you stupid bro? I’m trying to respectful to you’ as the other tries to pull the boys apart. 

A shocked Tina asked: ‘F*** off are you joking? You’re not feeling it?’ as Scott muttered: ‘Wow this guy, who even are you, bro?’

Upset Tina asked: ‘Why me? What the f*** have I got to do with anything?’ as Scott angrily told Luca: ‘You’re a different breed’ and Luca fumed: ‘I cant’ be a**ed with it. Scott’.

Tina burst into tears and stormed off while the girls went to comfort her, as she cried: ‘No I’m not doing this. It’s f***ing rude. I’m sorry, but what the f***!? That’s not okay! Why the f*** is he saying that s***?’

Scott fumed: ‘Who is this guy bro? Who are you man? There’s no coming back from that. We’re meant to be boys, what have you just done man?’

Love Island: All Stars continues Tuesday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
