Amanda Bynes sparked speculation she is engaged once again as she wore a diamond ring on her wedding finger on a recent outing.
The former actress, 38, who was engaged to Paul Michael until 2023, wore a pear-shaped diamond ring as she stepped out in LA on Saturday.
The She’s The Man star went make-up free for the outing while clad in a grey hoodie and black leggings.
Despite the speculation, a source told TMZ the star is not engaged.
Bynes called off her engagement to Michael in 2023, just before she checked back into a mental health facility.
In April 2023 Michael claimed he and Bynes had broken up just days before her mental breakdown, which led to her being placed on a psychiatric hold.

While reflecting on the end of their chaotic romance, the actress’ former partner alleged that two weeks before walking the streets of Los Angeles naked, she had ‘disappeared for three days’ before coming ‘home with another guy.’
He went on to tell TMZ that ‘they argued’ and Bynes, who he reportedly first met back at Alcoholics Anonymous in November 2019, ‘said she ‘didn’t care about him anymore.’
After calling it quits, he ‘packed up his things and left their home.’
Michael recalled feeling blindsided by her behavior as she ‘seemed stable’ and was focused on her becoming a nail artist after enrolling in a cosmetology course.
He speculated that something may have happened to her because she ‘seemed like a different person’ during their last encounter.
Bynes checked out of a mental health facility of her own volition after a three week stay, according to TMZ.
She had reportedly worked with the facility’s staff to determine that she was ready to get back to her regular routines.
Bynes had previously been under a conservatorship since 2013, but it was ended in 2022, so she will go back to having more freedom to make her own decisions.

TMZ previously reported that Bynes’ parents were not considering trying to set up another conservatorship, as she had been doing relatively well prior to her recent mental health crisis.
The original arrangement began in 2013, after she was involuntarily committed after multiple run-ins with the law starting a year earlier.
She had two hit-and-runs, as well as a DUI, in 2012, and she was later arrested in 2013 for allegedly throwing a bong out of the window of her 36th-floor apartment in Manhattan.

Bynes was hospitalized after reportedly wandering the streets of the Greater Los Angeles area for four days straight after her car was towed in Long Beach on March 15.
During that period, she was apparently in a manic state, and spent some time walking around naked.
Amanda had been reported to have been spotted walking in the ɴuᴅᴇ on the day that she entered the treatment facility, but a witness told TMZ that the She’s The Man star had flagged down a car to get help.
She was apparently cognizant of her mental state, and she called 911 to report that she was coming out of a psycH๏τic state and needed ᴀssistance.
After she was picked up, Bynes was initially put under a 72-hour psychiatric hold, which was initially extended while her team at the mental health facility devised a treatment plan for her.
Amid her mental health struggles, Bynes’ parents banned Michael from having any contact with her.
‘They do not want her ex-fiancé around her, and he has been instructed to have no contact with her,’ an insider told DailyMail.com on March 28.
‘He does not seem to have her best interests in mind and her family has nothing good to say about him.’
While speaking to the New York Post, Michael alleged: ‘She got off her meds, and she’s still off her meds… She’s wild.’
Michael previously claimed the two were now ‘friends.’
Bynes latest crisis appears to be the reason she pulled out of a reunion with her All That cast at ’90s Con in March, which was originally attributed to an ‘unknown illness.’
She had previously expressed excitement about reconnecting with her castmates ahead of the convention.
She was set to be joined by SNL star Kenan Thompson, his Good Burger costar Kel Mitchell, Danny Tamberelli and Lori Beth Denberg, all of whom were fixtures of the popular Nickelodeon sketch comedy series.
The event would also have marked her first public appearance since her conservatorship was ended one year earlier.

Bynes appeared on All That, which was later revived in 2019, from 1996 to 2000. The Nickelodeon alum is studying to be a manicurist again after failing her attempt at getting her license in April.
‘Since I haven’t pᴀssed the board exam yet to get my manicurist license, I started back at school to study manicurist theory to practice doing acrylics before I take the test again so I’ll be good to go when I get a job at a nail salon,’ Bynes revealed at the time.
She announced her new career path in December after cancelling her podcast with Paul Sieminski after just one episode.
