Loose Women star Brenda Edwards has revealed the truth behind her jaw-dropping weight loss after dropping three dress sizes and being grilled about ‘skinny jabs’.
The 55-year-old first opened up about her slim figure back in December on the ITV show.
Then during Monday’s instalment of Loose Women, it was brought up again after the panel spoke about their opinions on the current weight loss jabs.
Brenda said: ‘Every time I seem to come off the show recently, I do get lovely viewers saying to me you’ve lost a lot of weight, are you on a well-known jab.’
The TV star continued: ‘No. No I’m not. I’ll say that to all of them. Just in case I get more when I come off.
‘I’m just working, very busy, just relooking at how I treat my body, and swimming!’

Anchor Ruth Langsford asked her if it offends her that people ᴀssume that is how she has lost the weight.
Brenda replied: ‘I look at the message and I chuckle out loud. I laugh out loud.
‘I just think, why is that the first thing that someone would go to?’
The telly star revealed why she wouldn’t go down the route either.
Brenda said: ‘I don’t know enough about them.’
Meanwhile Ruth revealed how she feels about them.
Ruth confessed: ‘I am slightly judgemental. I go each to their own, if that’s what you want to do, do it.
‘But inside, I’m actually jealous. I’m a bit jealous. I am! It’s true.

‘I’m a bit jealous of those people that are on them who are losing weight.
‘I’m a bit jealous. So I go, that’s great, that’s amazing, that’s great it’s working for you.
‘Inside I’m going well that’s the easy way out.
‘I’m working hard, I’m eating right.
‘I am jealous but I am too nervous to take it, because I am not sure. Has it been regulated?’
Meanwhile Jane Moore, 62, pointed out that anyone can get their hands on them and you don’t have to go to the GP to do so.
She also highlighted that it is dangerous because there will be some people who suffer with body dysmorphia and think that they need to go on them and they don’t.

Gloria Hunniford, 84, also told the panel that people have died after getting their hands on the wrong stuff online.

Back in December Brenda revealed that she had dropped three dress sizes.
The former X Factor star – who has been cancer-free for nine years now – was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 when she was just 46.
And it’s clear that her health is understandably at the forefront of her mind.
She said: ‘Health is so important. I’ve realised that over the years with the cancer and everything… Taking up swimming has helped me to drop three sizes.’
Co-host Kaye Adams asked: ‘You’re still doing that?!’
‘Yeah I’m still doing that,’ Brenda replied.
The TV star shimmied her shoulders and added: ‘I’ve dropped off three sizes now! I’m feeling good.’
Back in 2024 it was revealed that Olympian Rebecca Adlington had been teaching her how to swim.
Brenda has been sharing pictures and videos with fans on social media ever since.
The TV star wrote on social media last year: ‘Not me swimming across the pool by myself!’
