Ferne McCann broke down in tears backstage after she became the second star to be eliminated from Dancing On Ice on Sunday.
The former TOWIE said, 34, was said to be crushed about the voters’ decision and couldn’t hide her emotion as she completed her ‘lap of honour’ on the rink.
Ferne, who was dressed as a troll for her performance during movie week, apparently cut short her lap after becoming overwhelmed with emotion.
An insider told us that Ferne burst into tears backstage when she saw her daughter Sunday, seven, and her mother Gilly, 65, after coming off the ice.
They said: ‘Back stage Ferne burst in to tears when her mum brought a tearful Sunday in to see her.
‘Ferne quickly pulled herself together, cheered up Sunday and was in really good spirits when she went out to meet all her friends and family.

‘She’s loved doing the show and has had a great time.’
Ferne landed in the bottom two with EastEnders star Charlie Brooks after receiving the fewest votes in last night’s show.
Charlie received the least votes in the first show last week, while Ferne received the least this week, meaning that they landed in the bottom two.
She was immediately thrown out of the compeтιтion without the opportunity to fight for a place in the skate-off.
After the decision was announced, she said to hosts Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern: ‘I’m so gutted, so gutted, but… it is what it is. We were having so much fun, I’m really sad…’
Holly sympathetically said: ‘Oh Ferne I can see you’re upset. Listen, you’ve got everything to feel proud of. You’ve made your family proud and we’ve loved having you. Please go and do a lap of honour now for the final time.’
Ferne waved to the crowd while completing her lap, before covering her face to hide her tears.
Even presenter Stephen remarked: ‘Wow, she’s gutted’.

He said: ‘I love this beautiful, inspirational powerhouse of a woman and i want to say, I am not only grateful that you are my partner in all walks of life, but I am very proud of you for everything you have accomplished in life to date, our amazing kids, your career and importantly your growth.
‘For anyone to learn a new skill (in such a short time) is super hard, and not forgetting also being a full time mum, a business owner and then doing something like dancing on ice in-front of thousands of people is something many would not dream of doing!
‘I think you smashed the performance, it was so fun to watch, and now you have a skill for life, I’ll be the one holding the penguin round the rink and your be doing loops, jumps and swirls. Well done babe! On to the next…. Let’s gooooooooo.’
She and her skating partner Brendyn Hatfield’s journey came to an end during fun-filled movie week.
The pair danced to September by Earth, Wind and Fire as they dressed as DreamWorks’ Trolls and was given a score of 28 from the judges.
Despite Josh Jones withdrawing from the skating compeтιтion due to sustaining an injury during rehearsals on Sunday, host Holly confirmed a celebrity would still be axed but with no skate-off.

Meanwhile Charlie, 48, recreated the iconic pottery scene from Ghosts with her skating partner Eric Radford in celebration of the performance to Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers.
In first looks snaps, Charlie was beaming as she took to the pottery wheel to craft a bowl sporting a clay-splattered apron with Eric sat behind her.
Other snaps showed Steve Redgrave dressed as The Godfather ahead of their skate to the film’s Love Theme by City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.
Coronation Street star Sam Aston meanwhile posed with his son is matching pyjamas while Dan Edgar headed to EsSєx with partner Vanessa James to chat to pal Diags.

Josh’s exit came after he narrowly survived the first elimination during last week’s live show, with Hollyoaks’ Chelsee Healey becoming the first star to be sent home.
Josh was first revealed to be taking part in Dancing On Ice in October, and admitted on Gaydio that he had ‘no skating experience’ at all.
He said: ‘I did it once for a date years ago and I wasn’t very good.
‘I was holding onto the railings the entire time and we aren’t together now.
‘My dancing isn’t great either, for a gay man I have no rhythm, I struggle to clap along to a beat so this will be fun.’
