Kelly Brook made the candid confession over the weekend about why she eventually chose to not have children.
The model and actress, 45, – who is now married to husband Jeremy Parisi – revealed that she asked her grandma if she had any regrets in life and was shocked by her frank answer, when she responded that her biggest one was having children.
She said: ‘Then I thought, ‘Actually, I don’t think I want them,’ and hearing that somebody had regrets, and that I might not regret not having children, made me feel really happy about my choice.’
Kelly has previously been engaged four times to a string of big-name exes including two Hollywood stars and even a Gladiator.
But she has finally found her happy ending after falling in love with Jeremy.
JASON STATHAM: 1997-2003

Kelly longest relationship before Jeremy was with Hollywood hardman Jason Statham.
The lads’ mags favourite dated the actor for six years between 1997 and 2003, and got engaged in their period.
At the time of their split Kelly told Hello! Magazine that she was a different person to the young woman who fell in love with Jason.
She said: ‘I’m not the same as I was when we met. I’m a lot more complex now – a lot more high maintenance. And sometimes you don’t know what you want until it hits you.’
Back in 2019 Kelly referred to Jason as ‘skint’, and was left visibly squirming when her now ‘multi-millionaire action hero’ ex was referenced on her Heart FM Breakfast Show by her co-host Ashley Roberts.
Begging her fellow presenters to stop talking about the Hollywood actor, Kelly made a dig at her former flame by declaring: ‘He was skint when I was there. Trust me.’
Jason now has two children with his supermodel fiancée Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who he has been with for over a decade.
Reading out the day’s showbiz news, Ashley announced: ‘Hobbs and Shaw is out today and Jason Statham is multi-millionaire action hero with a supermodel fiancé and a star of one of the biggest film franchises in the world…’
Kelly interrupted her, squirming: ‘Ugh. Can we just stop? These are all the things you do not want to hear about an ex-boyfriend.’
After sulkily reeling off the list of attributes about the Hollywood actor, Kelly mimicked shooting herself in the head.
Showbiz expert Ashley then asked: ‘Wait, catch me up, you dated him?’ to which Kelly responded: ‘Let’s not go there Ashley, he was skint when I was there. Trust me.’
Through a combination of canny investments and an explosion in his earning potential since he graduated to big-budget action movies, Jason is now estimated to be worth between £30-£35million.

At the time Kelly shaded her exes saying on the radio: ‘I’ve not really had, I mean this is a bit mean to say but I’m going to be honest – I haven’t really had any memorable engagements.
‘No like big grand gestures of like of romance or anything.’

Meanwhile in his own 2023 book Danny claimed Kelly was unfaithful to her then-boyfriend Thom Evans with him by going on a secret holiday together.
Danny revealed how hurt he was over Kelly and teammate Thom’s relationship after she moved on with him and the pair dated between 2010 and 2012.
He also detailed how he cut his wrists following a row with Kelly on a night out in Las Vegas, claiming she slapped him after he chatted up a stripper in a club.
Danny told The Sun on Sunday: ‘I felt like it was fair game… I felt like what was mine wasn’t mine any more. I was friends with Thom. It was definitely a difficult scenario.’
He claimed that he and Kelly secretly met up in Mauritius when she was still in a relationship with Thom, despite Danny’s feelings that it was immoral.
MailOnline contacted both Danny and Kelly’s representatives for comment at the time.
The couple broke up in June of that year, and it wasn’t long before Kelly was dating his friend in the November, leaving Danny heartbroken.

‘After the miscarriage Thom and I decided it was time to make a fresh start… Thom proposed.
‘He’d bought a beautiful ring. I immediately said yes. The miscarriage actually brought us closer together.’
‘Later I went to see my doctor, who said, ‘The best way to get over this is to try and get pregnant again’.
‘So Thom and I weren’t careful, and just before Christmas 2011, I got pregnant again.

Kelly first met hunky French model Jeremy in 2014 after watching one of his Instagram videos.
The pair tied the knot in Italy in 2022.
Kelly fell for Jeremy after she reached out to him directly on Instagram and the pair connected over their mutual love of martial arts and fitness training.
During the early days of their romance, Jeremy spoke very little English, with French and Italian being his primary languages.
The radio host took on the role of translator and admits she can still speak on Jeremy’s behalf even now he’s fluent in English.
Over the weekend Kelly revealed she’s made her mind up on whether she wants to have children or not, after an ‘honest’ admission from her grandma (Kelly pictured with husband Jeremy)
She has previously said: ‘I know people think I talk over Jeremy all the time. That’s because I talk too much and when Jeremy first moved to the UK, he didn’t speak any English, so I became so used to talking for him and I’ve just not got out the habit of it.’
Over the weekend Kelly revealed she’s made her mind up on whether she wants to have children or not, after an ‘honest’ admission from her grandma.

She opened up on a comment that has stuck with her and changed her views on becoming a mother.
In an interview with The Mirror, Kelly revealed that she asked her grandma if she had any regrets in life – and was shocked by her frank answer, when she responded that her biggest one was having children.
She admitted: ‘I wasn’t expecting it, but she definitely said it! I think she felt that having children had taken up a lot of her life.
‘I thought, ‘What an absolutely honest, incredible answer,’ and I think I needed to hear it. I was about 36 at the time and thinking, ‘God, am I ever going to have children? If so, maybe I should just get on with it now?’
‘Then I thought, ‘Actually, I don’t think I want them,’ and hearing that somebody had regrets, and that I might not regret not having children, made me feel really happy about my choice.’
Kelly reflected on how not having children leaves her life more open to different possibilities and used being able to move between LA and the UK as an example.
