Brooks Nader opened up about one of her childhood traumas on social media, and she found a lot of folks who said they could sympathize with her situation. 

The model, 28, who was spotted getting frisky with boyfriend Gleb Savchenko in New York City recently, revealed a cringe-worthy moment from her teens in a TikTok post. 

Replying to a comment from a fan telling the Louisiana native, ‘You’re so funny,’ Nader shared the harrowing tale.

‘Thanks,’ she replied. ‘When I was 16 my Dad snatched my unlocked phone out of my hands while I was sending dirty pics and locked himself in his truck and read with horror as I tried to break his car window with a bat!!!!’ she said. 

Adding below, she wrote, ‘Needless to say I was grounded for approx 2 years!!!!’

Rather than horror at the revelation of such teenage rebelliousness, the influencer’s fans shared some of their own similar experiences.

‘Oh I did, after reading the texts aloud, ‘ Nader replied.

Another fan expressed a similar pain. ‘My dad made me read mine aloud at the kitchen table.’ they said. 

‘I fear I’ve also experienced this,’ wrote another. ‘I’m sorry Queen,’ the Backtrace actress wrote in reply. 

Nader spent a good portion of her weekend meeting with fans at the Galaxy Experience Space in the Soho area of New York City on Saturday for Samsung Mobile USA.

Videos shared in her Instagram Stories indicate she was a popular draw for the company with which she has partnered. 

In December, the naturally thin  Dancing with the Stars contestant shocked her fans when she revealed she had experimented with the popular weight loss drug Ozempic.

‘I took, like, a little bit when it first came out, and everyone was doing it,’ the 27-year-old Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover girl told Us Weekly.

In a post on TikTok, the model came clean about an incident when she was 16 and tried to bash the window of her father’s truck with a bat rather than let him see the ‘dirty pictures’ she was posting

However, she had to stop using it when she joined season 33 of DWTS due to a common side effect.

‘It made me really nauseous,’ she explained. ‘I liked it — I am not going to lie — and when I went on Dancing With The Stars , I could not do both.’ 

The hours of daily dance training helped the model lose a few stubborn pounds. 

‘You’re dancing six hours a day and then, when you finally get a moment to look in the mirror, you’re like, “Oh, wait a minute, OK. This is paying off in more ways than one,” so I loved that aspect.’
