Love Island All Stars fans have brutally slammed new couple Montel McKenzie and Kaz Crossley as ‘cringe’ and vowed to vote to send them home.

Montel, 27, entered the villa this week with Harriett Blackmore as the latest bombshells and quickly caused a stir.

He was quick to start cracking on with Catherine Agbaje, who quickly became smitten and told the season 10 contestant he had ‘walked in at the perfect time’.

However on Friday, he and Harriett were gifted the opportunity to pick any Islander to couple up with, and fans were unimpressed by his decision. 

Montel stunned those gathered around the firepit by opting for a delighted Kaz, 30, instead of Catherine, who was left in tears.

And in Sunday’s episode, viewers were still left unconvinced by Kaz and Montel’s chemistry, with them branding their first chat ‘forced’ and ‘making me want to die’.

The newly coupled pair got some alone time where Montel rated Kaz’s outfit and showered her with compliments about her appearance. 

But fans took to X to write: ‘Please get Montel and Kaz tf out my TV screen’; ‘Seeing kaz and Montel together makes me feel a bit sick’.

‘The crickets in the back is how i feel listening to this convo with kaz and montel’; ‘Montel and Kaz are making me cringe. How she here posing for man? She’s proper trying it’.

‘Kaz and Montel seem way too forced HELP’; ‘Montel and Kaz chilling like they’re boyfriend and girlfriend already loool, I cannot I don’t even mind Kaz but Montel is so cringe’.

‘Montel and Kaz need to leave next I can’t take this anymore’; ‘Sorry but I don’t care for Kaz and Montel right now let the dust settle a little’.

‘montel and kaz are wasting space in this villa btw’; ‘Montel and Kaz give me the ick’; ‘Kaz & Montel make me cringe’. 

‘Montel plsss shut up, and some of you lot were mad he didn’t pick Cath. He can’t even string a sentence together let him be Kaz’s problem cos she will get the ick eventually’.

‘Can’t wait to vote Montel and kaz out’; ‘the chat between kaz and montel makes me want to die’; ‘take montel and kaz off my screen’.

Meanwhile, fans fears that a heartbroken Catherine might exit the show were increased, after she’d said earlier in the week: ‘I just want someone to hold my hand.’

Speaking to Montel on Sunday’s episode after he chose Kaz, she admitted that she thought he was going to pick her instead.

Catherine said: ‘I was shocked. Because I thought you were talking about me.’

Montel said he understood how she’d ᴀssumed that, but explained he had chosen Kaz because he felt he’d already given a chance for something to happen with Catherine.

He said: ‘The main reason is I’ve known you for a while and so if something was going to happen, it would’ve. 

‘But obviously I’m learning about her, but have more to learn about her, so it makes sense for me to explore the thing where I don’t know where it can reach. 

‘But with you, we’ve spoken for a while and I liked it and I think you’re an unreal person and obviously beautiful, but it has been explored.’

Catherine was quick to say: ‘But it hasn’t?’ but said she respected Montel’s decision.
