Miley Cyrus wants to keep clear of the public drama going on within her family, which unfolded after her brother Trace publicly voiced concern over their father Billy Ray Cyrus well-being.
Earlier this week, the 32-year-old superstar’s older sibling shared a very public message to their dad urging him to get help following his troubled performance at the Trump inauguration on January 20.
In response to the headlines and speculation about her loved ones, a source told People that the Flowers hitmaker is staying out of it.
‘Miley used to feel overwhelmed by the family drama. She worked hard to remove herself. She’s not about to get involved again,’ a source told People.
The insider added: ‘She’s in a great place now. She’s thriving and looking out for herself.’
Another source told Page Six the Grammy winner has ‘no interest’ in reconciling with her father.

The insider claimed Miley has not had a relationship with her father ‘for a long time.’
Trace, 35, took to social media to reach out to his father in a lengthy Instagram post, in which he stated: ‘I don’t know what you’re struggling with exactly, but I think I have a pretty good idea, and I’d love to help you if you would open up and receive the help,’ Trace wrote in his missive.’

After making the post, the Prescriptions singer claimed the Achy Breaky Heart singer had threatened him with legal action for his previous message.
‘For all of you wondering no I still haven’t heard from my dad, he shared in an Instagram Stories post.
‘He did contact a family member to let me know he’s taking legal action against me for encouraging him to get help.’
Miley addressed her estrangement from Billy Ray when she was a guest on David Letterman’s Netflix show My Guest Needs No Introduction in June 2024.
The Hannah Montana star told the host she had ‘inherited the narcissism from my father.’
‘I’m grateful to watch him ahead of me,’ she said.
‘He’s almost, like, given me this map, and there is a map of what to do and what not to do, and he’s guided me on both.’
