The Masked Singer fans are convinced that a hugely successful singer is Dressed Crab.

The ITV show – which sees celebrities conceal their idenтιтies and perform pop songs before a judging panel  – returned for its sixth series in early January.

So far, Olympian Mo Farah, Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway, Bake Off’s Prue Leith, singer Macy Gray and pop star Carol Decker have all been unmasked. 

On Saturday night’s episode, comedienne Mel Giedroyc was revealed as Teeth following her performance of the Neighbours theme tune.

But now, fans of the show are sure that they have worked out the idenтιтy of Dressed Crab, who performed Are You Gonna Go My Way by Lenny Kravitz this weekend.

On Reddit, viewers have speculated that singer Seal is the one behind it all.

If the singer does indeed turn out to be behind the mask, it will mean that Mo Gilligan was correct with his guess in week one

One fan wrote: ‘I think dressed crab is probably Seal’

A second joked: ‘If dressed crab is anyone other than seal, I’ll eat my foot.’

 A third said: ‘Dressed Crab gotta be Seal I’m betting on this’

Seal’s real name is Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel, and his biggest hit is Kiss From A Rose, which was released in 1994.

He is also known for his former marriage to supermodel Heidi Klum, but split from the America’s Got Talent judge in 2014 after almost a decade together.

If the singer does indeed turn out to be behind the mask, it will mean that Mo Gilligan was correct with his guess in week one.  

Despite this, some viewers are sure that Gregory Porter is behind the mask.

Gregory, 53, is an American singer, songwriter and musician. He has twice won the Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album: first in 2014 for Liquid Spirit and then again in 2017 for Take Me to the Alley.

Writing on X – formerly Twitter – one fan said: ‘Dressed Crab – is 100% Gregory Porter.’,

After going up against Bear in the nail-biting sing-off, judges Jonathan Ross , Davina McCall , Mo Gilligan and Maya Jama opted to vote out Teeth, with all of them none-the-wiser as to who was behind the mask

So it came as a great surprise when the character finally took off their costume head and revealed themselves to be none other than Mel Giedroyc .

Another said: ‘I think that Dressed Crab is Gregory Porter.’

 A clue in the programme also referenced ‘water’ which led one fan to noticing: ‘Gregory Porter’s debut album is тιтled Water.’ 

In the latest episode, judges Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, Mo and Maya Jama opted to vote out Teeth, with all of them none-the-wiser as to who was behind Teeth.

So it came as a great surprise when the character finally took off their costume head and revealed themselves to be none other than Mel Giedroyc.

The actress, comedian and presenter delighted following the reveal, telling the panel: ‘I’ll take Su Pollard! It’s so nice to see you guys. I love these teeth so much! I was very pleased with Alex Scott. Such a fun show, it’s impossible not to have fun on this show!’
