Taylor Swift fans, or Swifties as they are collectively called, woke up to an unpleasant surprise on Friday,
Two of her albums, her eponymous debut album from 2006 and 2017’s Reputation, are no longer listed in the discography of her Spotify page.
The Bejeweled singer’s 35, devoted fans quickly ᴀssumed this meant the re-recordings, called Taylor’s Version of the two albums were being released soon.
Other schools of thought were that it was a Spotify bug, which it appears to be.
Her debut album is back in the list of her albums on the app and Reputation can be played from search, but is not showing up on the list as of this writing.
One fan dramatically revealed her worst fear, saying ‘My worst fear is that I’ll be asleep when Reputation TV drops.’

Taylor is in the process of re-recording her first six albums that were released under her former contract with Big Machine Records.
In 2019, Scooter Braun bought Big Machine – and the master recordings of Taylor’s first six albums, which she had fought valiantly to own herself.

After that, Taylor vowed to re-record those six albums and she’s completed four of them to date: Fearless (Taylor’s Version) (2021), Red (Taylor’s Version) (2021), Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) (2023), and 1989 (Taylor’s Version) (2023).
The only two left are Taylor Swift and Reputation and fans have been frothing at the mouth for any news on when Taylor’s Version of Reputation will drop.
The album contains fan favorites Look What You Made Me Do, ….Ready For It and Don’t Blame Me.
Swifties were sure she was going to announce the new Reputation during her Eras Tour.
But now they have their sights set on the Grammy Awards for the big annoucement.
After all, the Karma hitmaker announced The Tortured Poet’s Department at last year’s Grammy ceremony.

Now that the Eras Tour has wrapped, Taylor has more time to devote to ‘normal’ things – like watching her boyfriend Travis Kelce, 35, play professional football.
One lifelong Kansas City Chiefs fan got to experience the suite life in Travis’ suite at Arrowhead Stadium recently on a day Taylor was in attendance.
Wrestler Baron Corbin got the invite from Kelce and invited his uncle and brother to come with him.
‘So we went [and] they took us up to the suite, and then [either my uncle or my brother] was like, “I wonder if Taylor’s going to be here,” and as they say it, she was [walking] into the room,’ Corbin recalled to Us Weekly.
‘My brother’s freaking a little bit and she walks right up to everybody, gives them a hug [and] gave us a hug like it was like you were instantly family.’
‘It was crazy ‘cause I [felt] like I was in a fishbowl and I wanted out of the suite,’ Corbin admitted.
‘It’s just mobs of people taking selfies of Taylor and just her existing. I’ve never been around someone like that. .. It’s a different magnitude. You felt like everyone in the stadium is staring at you because you’re standing behind her.’
Despite all the fan focus on the Anti-Hero singer, Corbin said Swift was ‘super dope and super humble.’

‘I had conversations with her,’ he said, noting Swift didn’t have a large crew with her.
‘She walked in with, like, maybe her security guard. But, no entourage. It’s all Kelce’s buddies from high school and home.
‘They’re all super cool; they’re all humble and nobody’s got egos, but Taylor’s super dope.’
And he made an impression on Swift too and scored an invite to Taylor and Travis’ joint holiday party.
‘Travis threw a little Christmas party [and] we hung out,’ Corbin added. ‘She was super dope. … She’s just a regular human being [who] is probably the most influential person in the world right now and unbelievably talented, writes all her own stuff.
‘It’s so refreshing to see someone like that,’ he said.
