It’s the show that has had the nation gripped for the past three weeks with multiple twists and turns and serious game play.
But one thing The Traitors viewers are predicting they have right is that there is a mother-and-son relationship on this year’s series.
Last year fans of the show left floored by the huge bombshell when Diane revealed Ross was her son and this year, they are convinced finalist Francesca (also known as Frankie) and faithful-turned-banished-traitor Freddie have the same secret going, which will be revealed in tonights final.
In Thursday’s episode Freddie was banished from the castle after both the faithfuls and traitor Charlotte cast their votes against him – but fans believe Frankie’s reaction may have revealed more than intended.
In a dramatic twist, Frankie, 44, who had taken on the role of a ‘seer,’ confronted Charlotte about her true idenтιтy, spurred on by a cryptic clue Freddie left before his exit.
Viewers are convinced that Frankie’s decision to choose Charlotte was driven by a desire to avenge Freddie’s departure and that a major revelation had been set up for the nail-biting final.

And now Traitors fans are predicting there is another secret mother-and-son relationship that involves Freddie and Frankie (pictured) and all will be revealed in Friday nights final
Taking to X they wrote: ‘Justice for Freddie! Well done in letting your mum know Charlotte was a traitor #TraitorsUK’
‘so we all know Frankie’s Freddie’s mum. So picking Charlotte was the perfect hidden revenge. I NEED TO WATCH THE FINAL EPISODE NOW #TheTraitorsUK’

‘So Frankie read how freddie (her son) pointed the finger to Charlotte #TheTraitors’
Another person replied to the speculation with ‘Yep definitely her son.’
During last night’s tense episode, viewers also thought Frankie accidentally let slip the truth about Freddie as she exclaimed at one point: ‘I’m his mum in here.’
The duos close bond has won the hearts of viewers, but it’s not the first time they’ve been led to believe they may already know each other outside of the show.
After the politics student broke down in tears at the roundtable earlier in the show, he was wrapped in a warm hug by Frankie, who reᴀssured him: ‘It’s just a game’.

Frankie has also stated that Freddie reminds her of her own sons with him admitting that she’s ‘like a mum to me’
She also previously said that Freddie ‘reminded her of her own sons’, who are similar in age, to which Freddie responded warmly: ‘Frankie’s like a mum to me in here.
The theory gained momentum when the contestants also talked about how they’d use the prize money if they won.
Frankie, who is raising three sons on her own, became tearful as she explained: ‘I would like it for my boys; that’s the reason I’m here.

‘Single mums can’t rely on anybody; you have to be self-sufficient, and I would like to put money towards my son going to university.’
Freddie’s response only added fuel to the fire, as he shared a similar sentiment saying: ‘I live at home with just me and my mum. She’s a single parent, and she’s had so many jobs for, like, the whole of her life, so first of all, I’d pay off some of her debt, or take her on holiday, or give her something sweet.
‘And also, if I want to do law school, I’ve got to pay for it myself, so I’d put money towards that.’
It’s not the first time the theory has been thought of as when they spoke about how they’d use the prize money if they won, both their stories were very similar
Outside of the show, Freddie has posted pictures on social media, and fans have noticed that Frankie is the only co-star featured on his grid – sparking more speculation about their connection
However, the rumour seems to have been debunked after another woman has come forward and claimed to be Freddie’s mother.
