Timothée Chalamet has officially joined a rare Oscars club with his Best Actor nomination for A Complete Unknown on Thursday.

At just 29 years old, the handsome star earned the nod for his portrayal of Bob Dylan in the biopic.

This follows his previous nomination for the same honor at the 90th Academy Awards in 2018 for Call Me By Your Name.

With this latest nomination, Chalamet becomes the first man to secure two Best Actor nominations before turning 30—an achievement last reached by the late, legendary James Dean.

The iconic star, who tragically pᴀssed away at 24 in 1955, was nominated posthumously for East of Eden (1955) and Giant (1956) in the two ceremonies following his death.

Should Chalamet win, he’ll make history as the youngest-ever Best Actor winner, besting Adrien Brody’s 2003 record of winning at 29 for The Pianist.

Meanwhile, Timothée’s Oscar nomination comes just days before he takes on double duty as both host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live. 

The musical guest news caught many off guard, given that Chalamet is globally renowned for his acting roles in Little Women, Call Me By Your Name, and Dune.

However, the lightbulb quickly went off for followers, as Timothée just portrayed Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown, where he’s not just acting but also singing his own songs.

Fans are also buzzing to see if Timothée’s glam girlfriend Kylie Jenner, 27, will join him in the Big Apple for the big SNL event.

The couple has kept their two-year romance mostly out of the spotlight, carefully navigating the balance between Timothée’s rising Hollywood star power and the intense public interest in Kylie’s high-profile family.
