The songstress has lately been promoting her new music, which is due out on Friday, January 24.
On Thursday, she stopped by the famed New York radio stations 103.5 KTU and Z100.
‘When you write a song and then you step away from it, sometimes you’re like, “Wow, this is really good!”‘ she explained while visiting Z100
‘And then you’re like, “Do I suck?” And you’re like, “Nothing I do is good” … It’s such a roller coaster.’
Explaining her creative process, she continued, ‘I like to write a song, take some space away from it, and then see how I feel.’
Levesque told longtime radio host Elvis Duran that she wrote her latest set of songs at the end of 2023 ‘and then lived with it and decided that I did want to put out a project.’

The longtime performer also reflected on the shift in the music industry over the last 20 years.
‘Not only is the music industry different, I’m different and I’m more adaptable and I roll with the punches,’ she declared. ‘I think that there’s a lot more opportunity for artists to connect directly with their fans.’
Overall, she said she thinks it’s a ‘fire time to be a creative person.’
