Lily-Rose Depp’s terrifying audition tape for horror film Nosferatu has left fans with one common question.
The French-American actress, 25, starred in the movie released at the start of this year which is a haunting remake of the 1922 silent classic, which was loosely based on Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
In this new version, Bill Skarsgard takes on the role of the bloodthirsty Count Orlok, with Lily-Rose playing Ellen Hutter, the object of his sinister obsession.
In addition to Depp and Skarsgard, Nosferatu features a talented ensemble cast that includes Nicholas Hoult as Thomas Hutter, Ellen’s husband, and Willem Dafoe as Professor Albin Eberhart Von Franz, a vampire hunter.
The film also stars Emma Corrin as Anna Harding, the wife of Thomas’s friend Friedrich, portrayed by Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
And having recently been released online, Lily-Rose’s horrifying audition video for the film has left people with one common question.

‘And if that means working ten times harder, then that’s okay. I am not ashamed, my parents are such talented performers. I am blessed to be their daughter and watch them go about their careers.’
Clearly keen to go under the radar, Lily-Rose rarely shares much to her 8.3 million Instagram followers apart from red carpet snaps and trailers for new projects.
She also refuses to openly defend her father, whose turbulent relationship with Amber Heard ended up in court over claims he abused her.
Nor has she ever commented on her father’s substance abuse which he claims started when he was just age 11.
‘I’m not here to answer for anybody,’ she said, ‘And I feel like for a lot of my career, people have really wanted to define me by the men in my life, whether that’s my family members or my boyfriends, whatever.
After years of struggling to get her fledging acting career off the ground, she has finally won her critics over with her latest movie, Nosferatu which has received rave reviews
‘And I’m really ready to be defined for the things that I put out there.’
Unlike many other wannabes, Lily-Rose refuses to share too much of her own life too.
In contrast to many other glamourous twenty-something girls, she only has Instagram which she rarely updates unless she is proudly promoting her work.
She has no other social media accounts and rather than being a party animal, she prefers to stay at home, cooking with her friends as well as making pottery.
