Jorgie Porter looked in good spirits as she pushed her daughter Peony in a pram while out in Manchester on Wednesday. 

The former Hollyoaks star, 36, welcomed her second child Peony on December 10 at 10.40am.

The actress was all smiles as she cradled her daughter in her lap while grabbing lunch during the outing.

Jorgie wrapped up in a black padded jacket which she wore with dark trousers and a turtle neck jumper.

Jorgie, who is also mum two-year-old son, Forest, and co-parents Alfie, her fiancé Oliver’s 10-year-old son, recently spoke about her labour experience.  

The soap star revealed that Peony was delivered via a planned caesarean section, weighing in at an impressive 8lbs 14oz.

Reflecting on her decision to opt for another C-section, Jorgie told OK! Magazine: ‘When the nurses pulled her out, I thought, “Thank God I chose a section because there’s no way I’d have had her naturally”.’ 

Both Jorgie and her daughter were discharged a day later and able to go home. 

When asked about the inspiration behind her unique name, Jorgie shared: ‘We’d not heard of anyone with the name Peony and I love the flowers, they’re so beautiful.

‘But we were literally desperate to tell people her name before someone else had a baby and chose it before us! We didn’t give her a middle name because she’s Peony Porter Piotrowski which is already quite a lot for a kid to say, isn’t it?’

It comes after Jorgie confirmed the birth of her second child on Instagram. 

Sharing a pH๏τo of the newborn’s tiny hand, Jorgie captioned the post with a special tribute to her nurse, writing: ‘She’s here …..! We are complete.

‘Thank you to everyone at Wigan hospital Especially @sandi_goulding who is our everything… couldn’t of asked for a better day.’

Jorgie’s happy news comes three years after she suffered a devastating miscarriage while pregnant with quadruplets.

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline ahead of the birth, Jorgie admitted it had felt like a long pregnancy, adding that the second time around wasn’t better.

‘My belly’s stretched loads bigger. I feel like I’ve been pregnant for 54 years!’ she said.

Talking about expanding her family Jorgie said: ‘I think it’s good because we don’t have a lot of family, so we want to create a big family unit.

‘I think every woman feels pressure to go back to work or might feel guilty that they want to go back to work, so it’s all a bit of a midfield, but I have the best support.’

Jorgie confirmed her pregnancy in an episode of ITVBe’s Drama Queens in May, revealing she and Ollie were due to become parents again.

‘So guys… guess what? I am pregnant,’ she told her co-stars.

Jorgie – who tragically lost her quadruplets at 14 weeks back in 2021 – also took to Instagram to share a baby scan video featuring her little boy and their dog and captioned it: ‘We’ve been keeping a little secret.’

‘But Oliver, it’s a bit more of a tentative subject because he obviously knows the past situations, what we went through, also the risks.

‘I was high risk. I could have literally died, and the doctors were telling him that… Oh, I get sad, because I think about him. Also, I’ve got no one else to talk to about it.’

In August 2021, the couple discovered during their 14-week scan that Jorgie had lost the quadruplets they had conceived naturally and in February they learnt of their second miscarriage at six weeks into the pregnancy – on the day of their engagement party.

The former I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! contestant explained she has never met anyone in her situation before.

She said: ‘Because I’ve had no one go through… I never met another quad mum, and I’m actually probably a bit more upset for the loss of them now.

‘Whereas at the time, it made more sense, but… it’s… when you think, ‘aw, there could have been a football team.’
