Anna Maynard has insisted she is ‘strong and has thick skin’ as she opened up about online trolling. 

The CBBC presenter, 24, has been in the spotlight since she was 17-years-old and is the younger sister of singer Conor Maynard and YouTube star Jack Maynard. 

Anna revealed that online abuse ‘isn’t new to her’ and she is in ‘control’ of her social media accounts and decides not to look at negative or upsetting content. 

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline at the Bohomoon event in London, Anna said: ‘To be honest I think it’s something I’ve always known, I’ve done this [been in the public eye] since I was 17 and it’s not new to me. 

‘But any hate or trolling I receive I’m in control of my account and I can do what I want and if things are affecting me I can delete it or not look at it. 

‘You don’t have to spend your days looking at things that upset you. I’m pretty strong and have thick skin so nothing really affects me too much.’

The TV presenter, 24, revealed she has turned to fitness  which has ‘completely changed’ her mental health and she enjoys waking up at 5am to workout to ‘clear her head’ for the day

Anna went on to say that she has turned to fitness recently which has ‘completely changed’ her mental health. 

The stunner explained that she and Traitors star boyfriend Harry Clark are currently in their ‘wellness and fitness era’ and she enjoys waking up at 5am to workout to ‘clear her head’ for the day. 

She continued: ‘Honestly fitness has completely changed the game for me it’s come at a time when I really need it and it’s good to clear your head. 

‘I wake every morning at 5 and get it done, I have to do it in the morning and it clears my head for the day.’ 

Currently Anna and boyfriend Harry are busy training for the London Landmark’s half marathon which will take place on Sunday, April 6. 

It comes after Harry showed off his impressive two-stone weight loss transformation in a before-and-after snap in December.

The Traitors winner proudly displayed his new physique as he went shirtless for a mirror selfie in his gym. 

In the before snap, Harry wore green swimming shorts as he posed in front of the sea while enjoying a vacation abroad.

He revealed that the before snap was taken in August and at the time he weighed 100kg (15 stone 10lbs), whereas he now weighs 85kg (13 stone 5lbs).  

He captioned his post with: ‘1st December reminder to myself (Christmas tree and Santa emoji)’

‘Also, remember to always look at how far you’ve come! The first pH๏τo is me currently sat around 85kg’s feeling like nothings really changed, then the second pH๏τo is me in august on holiday at 100+kg. 

‘People always say to me they swear I never needed to loose weight before, however the proof is in the pudding, I was a chubby bunny.’

‘Mad to think it’s just the start, who knows where I’ll be next August. Hope everyone’s had a good week, I’m currently deeping the fact this time next week I’ll be 24 (celebration emoji) which is mad, but what a year 23 has been (love heart emoji).’ 

Harry previously shared that he lost six pounds in just four days at intense 1st Class Bootcamp he attended with Anna. 

The intense, structured program had not only helped him lose weight, but also regain a sense of mental clarity that had eluded him for a while.

It comes after Traitors star Charlotte Chilton opened up about being a single mother after welcoming a daughter she says was fathered by Anna’s older brother Conor Maynard.

Charlotte, 32, revealed earlier this month that the singer, also 32, has yet to meet their 10-week-old daughter, claiming he ghosted her after finding out she was pregnant and has refused to acknowledge baby Penelope as his own.

She announced in June that Conor was the father of her unborn ‘miracle’ baby, having fallen pregnant as the result of an one night stand, after she suffered seven miscarriages undergoing IVF with her ex-wife.

In an exclusive chat with MailOnline, Charlotte explained not just the mental but financial of the fallout, confessing she’s been forced to work around the clock as a new mum just to make ends meet.

Charlotte said: ‘Penelope has got everything she needs don’t get me wrong, she’s got nice clothes, we’re booked into baby mᴀssage, she’s learning to swim, but that’s because I put her first. I go without so she can have these things.

‘If someone else were to chip in, what else could I provide for her? What else could I do? Be a mum who’s present instead of a mum that’s working every hour and is exhausted all the time because she’s trying to make ends meet.’ 

Charlotte has been vocal about Conor’s lack of involvement in their lives, saying at the time of her pregnancy reveal: ‘She [Penelope] is not a dirty secret and I won’t be silenced.’
