Anna Maynard has revealed how she really feels about her boyfriend Harry Clark outsmarting his fellow players and schemed his way to victory on The Traitors last year.

Harry stormed to victory during the tense 2024 Traitors series, stealing the £95,000 jackpot from pal and co-star Molly Pearce during the finale.

CBBC presenter and influencer Anna, 24, has been dating Harry, for nearly three years after meeting in a Brighton nightclub in April 2022.

Now Anna has revealed that Harry ‘plays a good game’ even at home but the former British Army Corporal ‘always says he can’t lie to her’.

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline at the Bohomoon event, Anna said: ‘I know people always say it must be a red flag but not at all, Harry always says he can’t lie to me or his mum so he’s playing a good game and I loved watching him in it.’

Anna revealed she has a ‘different perspective’ on the smash hit BBC series this year as traitors Minah and Charlotte are currently fooling the faithfuls.

The influencer revealed that during the 2024 series she watched along with the rest of the country as the show aired and had no clue as to how a lot of the game played out due to the BBC’s ‘very strict’ rules meaning ‘what happens in the castle stays in the castle’.

Anna continued: ‘It’s so nice having a different perspective this year. Last year was so different I knew he was on it but I couldn’t talk about it and didn’t know what had actually happened. I was watching when everyone else was watching.

‘This year I can enjoy it a bit more and get to know everyone and everyone plays it so different, it is hard so hats off to them.

‘From Harry being in it and now being out of it, it is difficult., when he was on it I didn’t know he was a traitor when he was away there was no contact so what happens in the castle stays in the castle, it was very strict. I found out when he came home but I watched as it happened’.

As the final week of the hit series approaches and it will be revealed if Minah and Charlotte as traitors or Alexander, Leanne, Frankie, Joe, Freddie and Jake as faithfuls take home the mega cash prize, Anna revealed who she is rooting for.

She said: ‘I feel for the faithful because their aim of the game is to catch the traitors and I want them to get them but obviously Harry is team traitors all the way.’

Away from The Traitors, Anna and Harry are currently training for the London Landmarks half marathon and are hoping ‘to start a podcast together’.

Anna – who is the younger sister of singer Connor Maynard and YouTube star Jack Maynard – has presented CBBC show Got What It Takes? since 2018.

It comes after Harry confessed he still feels like a ‘normal guy’ despite winning the life-changing £95,000 jackpot.

‘This year I can enjoy it a bit more. When Hary was on it I didn’t know he was a traitor when he was away there was no contact so what happens in the castle stays in the castle, it was very strict. I found out when he came home but I watched as it happened’

Despite winning, Harry has kept his humble roots and revealed to MailOnline in December that he hasn’t used the money to upgrade to a luxury lifestyle.

He said: ‘I’m just a normal guy who went on a TV show and everyone thinks it’s mad.

‘I still live in a council estate in Slough now. I still drive my rundown Corsa that I’ve had for six years.

‘I haven’t upgraded my car or anything like that because I don’t need to. It’s been weird, but it’s also not weird at the same time.’

While the show thrust him into the limelight, Harry admitted he doesn’t feel famous as he explained how after he won both him and his family went back to their normal jobs as he added: ‘Me and my family couldn’t have prepared for what’s happened this year.’

Reflecting on his victory the star said: ‘As soon as I won, I got on the phone and I told my parents. Look, I was 22 years old, I wanted to run down the street screaming it around, you know?

‘So I told my mum and dad, and then my siblings knew and then obviously my girlfriend and that was it, no one else knew, and then they had to keep it a secret.

‘But it was weird because we all went back to work. Life didn’t change because I went back to the army, that was in August, September time and I was in the army until January when it came out on the screen.’

Harry was due to leave the Army regardless of the show’s outcome but had set himself up with a job to work in London on the trains.

However after winning the show his life went in a completely direction as he added: ‘I wasn’t expecting any of it.’

The final saw Harry win the £95,150 prize money all to himself after he and Mollie Pearce banished Jaz Singh in the final roundtable.

After convincing Mollie that he was faithful throughout the whole experience, the disability model and now Dancing On Ice star was left in painful turmoil as she weighed up whether to vote out Jaz or Harry and end the game.

Yet Mollie stayed loyal to her friendship, changing the name on her chalkboard at the last minute from Harry, to Jaz only to find out the heartbreaking truth that Harry was a traitor.

Overcome with emotion, Mollie was brought to tears as she cried: ‘Oh my f*****g god,’ before storming out of the studio.
