‘I am going to do a birth vlog to share how she arrived into the world. Miley was breeched my whole pregnancy and she did not turn which meant I had a bit of a task on my hands to try and have my home birth as it was quite difficult to get the support to have a physiological v. birth with her being flexed.’

She concluded: ‘Most importantly she’s here safe and sound and we couldn’t be happier✨’.

The reality star announced Miley’s arrival on Saturday by sharing a pH๏τo of her and Mark cradling their bundle of joy right after her birth.

She wrote: ‘Look who decided to show up early. Bigger than expected and a bit of a rollercoaster.

‘We’re over the moon and taking it all in but just glad she’s healthy and happy.’

Earlier this month Montana had told her fans she planned to give birth to her breech baby at home, despite being advised to have a C-section.

The star was exploring giving birth privately after criticising her ‘inexperienced’ NHS midwives, who she claims ‘lacks training’.

Montana said she was advised by her NHS midwives to give birth in hospital but she has insisted she wants to follow her head and heart and stay at home.

Earlier this month Montana had told her fans she planned to give birth to her breech baby at home, despite being advised to have a C-section (pictured in November)

She claimed the reason her midwives aren’t advising a home birth is because they haven’t been trained to give birth to breech babies – and said that her private midwife is confident she will be able to give birth naturally, despite being breech.

What happens if your baby is breech?

If your baby is lying bottom or feet first, they are in the breech position.

If they’re still breech at around 36 weeks’ gestation, the obstetrician and midwife will discuss your options for a safe delivery, according to the NHS.

If your baby is in a breech position at 36 weeks, you’ll usually be offered an external cephalic version (ECV).

This is when a healthcare professional, such as an obstetrician, tries to turn the baby into a head-down position by applying pressure on your abdomen. It’s a safe procedure, although it can be a bit uncomfortable.

If an ECV does not work, you’ll need to discuss your options for a vaginal birth or caesarean section with your midwife and obstetrician.

If you plan a caesarean and then go into labour before the operation, your obstetrician will ᴀssess whether it’s safe to proceed with the caesarean delivery.

If the baby is close to being born, it may be safer for you to have a vaginal breech birth.

In a TikTok video, she said: ‘So we are obviously nearing D-Day and she is still breech and for me, my mindset is on a home birth and It’s really hard to find people who are supportive of a home birth especially in my position of having a breech baby.

‘Which has been really really tricky because if you speak to midwives who are a little bit older and have had their training, they are quite confident at birthing breech babies because from what I’ve heard it’s just a different form of vaginal delivery.

‘Yes there are risks but as there are with any birth and there are certain things you look out for and certain positions that are better in order to make sure that the baby is delivered in a safe environment.

‘The hospital I am with, who have been incredibly supportive and have given me a lot of different options, are very against me giving birth at home and also if she continues to stay in the same positions that she has been which is footling breech, they have completely advised me to not give birth vaginally and have given me the option to book in for an elliptical [C-section].

‘But a lot of the midwives that have been trained a lot more and have a lot of experience in delivery vaginal breach birth are not concerned about me giving birth at home so yeah there is a lot of conflict.’

She added: ‘A lot of midwives at the hospital have never delivered a vaginal breech birth which is obviously concerning for me.

‘But I can completely see that the hospital are cautious about me giving birth vaginally and on the birth centre if I don’t have an experienced time without me, so we are now diving into the private midwife route.

‘And I spoke to two amazing private midwives and they both feel really confident delivery breech babies.

‘My partner and my mum are a bit like “Can we just go to hospital, it seems safer” and my instincts and my heart is just worried that I am going to get pigeon holed to make decisions on the day when I am trying to remain really focused.

‘I’m worried on the day I’m going to be pushed into making certain decisions or not being listened too based on fear and lack of experience as opposed to being the right thing.

‘And I’m not slating the midwives or the care that I am receiving but I want all the decisions made on the day to be based on facts and what physiologically is going on in my body rather than people not knowing certain situations because of the lack of training.’

She captioned her post: ‘This is a birth update. Feeling a bit scrambled but my head and heart are wanting home birth and to listen to my body as much as possible #homebirth #maternity’
