It comes after the star revealed more insights into her time on I’m A Celebrity, as she admitted she became the camp’s protestor and even predicted her own elimination.

The N-Dubz star was the third to be evicted from the jungle after receiving the lowest public vote, and immediately fled Australia to go back home to the UK.

She has since revealed her decision to rush home came from suffering extreme anxiety and becoming overwhelmed with all the cameras.

And appearing on her fellow campmate GK Barry’s podcast, Tulisa gave more explanation about her time in the jungle, admitting she had a few ‘kick-offs’ with ITV and that she thought her introverted nature had caused her to be voted out.

The pair discussed how Tulisa had become the camp’s unofficial spokesperson, protesting to bosses regularly about the conditions.

They revealed that the former X Factor judge had blasted ITV during the credit card twist, which saw the celebrities have to pay money to get water or use the dunny.

Tulisa explained she had suffered from painful period cramps in the jungle, due to her endometriosis, while GK admitted: ‘Jungle period is no joke.’

Tulisa then recalled how she had complained about it being recorded on screen about how much each person had spent on the dunny.

She said: ‘It would obviously come up at the end of the day how many times you’ve gone to the loo. I wasn’t happy about that.’

‘Poor ITV dealing with me, I went: “I’m not having my bladder movements put on national TV, you’re going to have to change this!”.

‘And then I was like “GK is on her period, you’re not charging her to use the dunny to change her tampon. That’s tampon tax and it’s unacceptable!” And the next day it was gone!’

She admitted she had also blown up over the conditions that Maura Higgins and Reverend Richard Coles were living in when they first arrived as latecomers, with the pair only being granted basic necessities, with no fire or beds.

However, unknown to the rest of the camp was the fact that Maura and Rev Richard had a secret luxury camp, complete with a huge double bed and bathtub.

Tulisa sheepishly confessed she had raged at ITV before the celebrities figured out the truth, saying: ‘I saw Maura shaking like she had hypothermia and was like this is unacceptable! You cannot leave them like this, we are not prisoners here!’

‘I was the protestor, I was protesting for camp rights. Because I was saying what everyone wanted to say but was too scared. So I did have a few kick-offs.’

As GK admitted she had been shocked when Tulisa was eliminated, the singer explained that she had seen it coming, having worked out that she was getting less airtime.

She said: ‘One thing a lot of people didn’t know – you know you can tell how much airtime you’re getting by how much you’re getting called to the Bushtucker Telegraph and how many questions they ask you? Because you’re narrating what’s being aired.’

‘And in the days running up to it I wasn’t getting called as much to the BT and then I wasn’t getting asked as many questions, so I was like, “Ah”.’

She added: ‘But at the same time I was also going into my introvert mode by that point I was already getting overwhelmed so I was not really intricated into camp a lot anyway.’

‘So in my mind, I was like I might end up going because I knew I wasn’t getting much airtime.’

Elsewhere in the chat, she spoke about her struggle to cope with constantly being filmed and surrounded by people, saying: ‘Initially I was terrified by the thing of being watched, being on all the cameras, being in that big commercial television again and 24/7 nowhere to hide. I just went into anxiety overload.’

She added: ‘I’m very sociable in bursts, but then I go away and don’t speak to anyone for a week. It came to the point to me that I was like this is becoming too much and the introvert in me started to overload.’

Tulisa admitted that being on the show convinced her that maybe fame wasn’t suited to her, and insisted she had a ‘free pᴀss’ to jet home from Australia early and skip out on the final with her other campmates.

She said: ‘I’m sorry but I have a free pᴀss after what I’ve been through. I don’t need to play the fame, I wanted to get home and get under a rock.’

‘You saw it coming, those last few days it was too much for me. I don’t process things until I’m completely alone and when I was alone having a glᴀss of wine I started to cry.’

‘And then I was like I’m really proud of myself for doing this, but I’ve pushed myself too far, too soon.’

‘My main thought about going back on camera the next day – I started hyperventilating. And to distract myself I went on Insta and Tiktok to scroll and then all that was coming up was me and I was like I can’t do this.’

‘It was stimulation overload, it’s hard enough in there with the constant cameras. But for me having just got over agoraphobia, this was a big step.’

Tulisa admitted: ‘I went home and I stared at the wall for four days. I watched the Lord of The Rings trilogy and didn’t even speak to anyone at all. I needed to realign. I think the show made me realise maybe this is just not for me.’

Tulisa made a swift exit from Australia within days of being voted out of the Jungle, having deleted all traces of her appearance on the ITV show from her Instagram.

She later took to her Instagram to address the speculation about her sudden departure saying she had become ‘overwhelmed’ by the whole thing.
