EastEnders fans have blasted soap bosses for ‘slacking’ after they noticed a glaring blunder – but can you spot it? 

During last Thursday night’s episode of the BBC hit, Denise Fox learned of Jack Branning’s recent hook up with Nicola Mitchell, which left her feeling disgusted.

They were sat in the Queen Vic with Jack’s daughter Penny while Nicola watched on from the bar.

Sporting a cut on his forehead, he told the pair: ‘Look I’m embarrᴀssed, alright? It was nothing.’

However, during the scene the noticeable bruise on his forehead suddenly disappeared, before reappearing.   

The blunder quickly caught the eyes of viewers, who were shocked to see such an obvious mistake being broadcast.

Throughout the scene the cut on his forehead vanished before reappearing again

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, fans shared their thoughts on the situation, with one writing: ‘They’re slacking wth.’

Another fumed: ‘I don’t understand how they can’t do that scene in one.’

A third penned: ‘Why was he even filming without the brow makeup?’

While a fourth swiped: ‘Amateur hour in the makeup department IMO.’ 

It comes after show bosses revealed that Denise’s future will be in the hands of the soap’s fans.

Viewers of the BBC show will be able to pick who the hairdresser will get into a relationship with as part of the live episode, which will air during the big 40th anniversary week.

The choice is between Denise’s estranged husband Jack or her toyboy lover Ravi Gulati.

EastEnders Executive producer Chris Clenshaw said of the exciting twist: ‘We’re all so excited to give our audience their first ever chance to decide how one of our big storylines plays out.

‘Their votes will determine whether Denise picks Jack or Ravi, with the outcome being revealed as part of our live episode.

‘There is a lot to come over the next few weeks for all three involved, so it’ll be extremely exciting to see which way the audience choose to take the story!’

As viewers will know, back in 2024, Jack and Denise’s marriage fell apart when it was found out that Jack had secretly been sleeping with Stacey Slater.

But in recent weeks Denise and Jack have managed to put things aside and have become closer again.

Denise hasn’t exactly been a saint herself…

At one point in 2023, Ravi invited Denise to spend the night at a H๏τel with him – but ultimately decided against it.

But as EastEnders fans know, Denise locked lips with Ravi during the Christmas Day episode.

To make matters more awkward, Denise’s daughter Chelsea used to date him.

Viewers have recently taken to X to share their thoughts on Denise and Ravi’s relationship.
