TV fans have ‘cancelled their plans and neglected their chores’ to binge-watch a ‘jaw-dropping’ British thriller that they raved ‘keeps you guessing’.
Crime drama The Crow Girl – which is based on Erik Axl Sund’s book series of the same name – has recently dropped on Paramount+.
Viewers can watch DCI Jeanette Kilburn and partner DI Lou Stanley join forces to try and solve a number of murder mysteries in Bristol.
All six episodes of the show have now been released on the streaming service and many have rushed to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share how much they are loving it.
I fact, they are enjoying it so much that they have watched the whole thing and have even postponed their plans to get their fix of the programme.
One wrote on the social media platform: ‘Many plans/household chores cancelled today because now I have to binge watch #Thecrowgirl, it’s fantastic.’

The Crow Girl’s synopsis reads: ‘Eve’s character, DCI Jeanette Kilburn, becomes determined to hunt down the killer as she joins forces with Katherine’s character, a psycH๏τherapist named Sophia Craven, despite resistance from her superiors, including confidant DI Lou Stanley, played by Dougray.

‘The murder investigation takes a dark turn when the pair start unravelling the dangerous world of historic abuse and murder.
‘DCI Jeanette and Sophia soon discover a chain of shocking events that have been overlooked for decades, as well as evidence of corruption.’
The drama has a star-studded cast which includes Katherine Kelly, Eve Myles and Dougray Scott.
Others include Clara Rugaard, Trevor White, Victoria Hamilton, Lee Boardman and Ashling O’Shea.
Fans have been scratching their heads about if the show will return with a second series.
The final episode of series one ended with “to be continued,” which implies that there could be.
And Erik’s trilogy consists of The Crow Girl, The Hunger Fire and The Pythia’s Instructions – meaning that those stories could be explored.
Just last month Corrie star Katherine Kelly opened up about her bond with co-star Eve Myles.
Speaking to The Mirror, Katherine said: ‘We’re at a similar stage in our lives.
‘We adore our jobs, but we adore being mothers as well and we don’t want to miss any of that.
‘We admit that we’re both workaholics – and I mean that in the most positive way. We do what we love for a living.’
She added: ‘I’ve found that I’ve had to work away from home a lot since Covid, so the minute I leave the house, I just immerse myself in work really.
‘I’m quite all or nothing and I find it hard to not keep going because I’m not going to my family home at night.
‘It’s like an exam – there’s never a point where you feel you’re finished.
‘Then the minute I walk through the door, I’m completely free to be at home.’
