Ricky Gervais provided another sneak peek of his £14.5million Hampstead mansion on Instagram on Sunday and revealed a secret talent of his.
The comedian, 63, bought the property, which includes nine bathrooms, a spa and its own gym, in March last year.
He posted a picture showing the wide open-plan space at the heart of the home, boasting a cream rug with a royal blue and gold pattern, as well as light grey walls and a white ceiling.
The pH๏τo also showed a fireplace, complete with a Christmas stocking, and a wooden drinks cabinet.
But the main event of the snap was a piece of his abstract artwork, making its social media debut and composed of oil on canvas.
The piece starts off black around the margins before fading into a crimson red further in and boasting an amber colour in the centre.

Ricky, however, was not completely satisfied with the state of the painting, adding the caption: ‘My latest painting is up but I’ve just noticed the frame of the canvas is slightly warped. All adds to it I guess.’
Fans were torn on the comedian’s latest attempt at an art career, with some giving their views in the comments section.
One said: ‘I love the colours …..warm and lovely.’
Another user added: ‘John martin vibes. I’ve done wrapped paintings before, I like the imperfections.’
But one posted: ‘What’s art about that?’
And another said: ‘Like some sort of weird art.’
The wooden floorboards on display in the Instagram post contrasted with the marble design featured in an update earlier this month, as fans joked that The Office creator had to ‘be careful’ on his very ‘slippery’ polished floors.
Taking to his Instagram on Sunday, he displayed his wit as he posted a pH๏τo of his lavish hallway, complete with marble staircase, large windows and a laundry basket.

His 4.1million followers rushed to comments to react to the funny post with many distracted by the After Life star’s extremely polished floors and several questioning how long they took to clean, while others pointed out the risk of injury on the ‘slip n slide’ marble.
They commented: ‘I call that floor, “too slippery and awaiting a workplace injury report to be filled out because a liquid was left spilt”.’
‘Shout out to the floor sweeping staff’; ‘Do you clean your own floors? Genuine question.’

Ricky explained last year that a major factor behind his move to the luxury mansion was his desire for a bigger garden
He lives in the lavish home with his long-term partner Jane Fallon, 64, but in August, he admitted that the property is unlikely to be his ‘forever home’ as Jane raised concerns about the pair living there in their eighties (pictured: the couple in 2016)
‘Must be weird living in a private hospital’; ‘Need a carpet ❤️’; ‘You forgot “Reflection in the floor” of “Laundry basket on a bench in the hall”’.
Ricky explained last year that a major factor behind his move to the luxury mansion was his desire for a bigger garden – to build a tennis court.

He won the battle transform the garden into a tennis court for lessons in September, despite angry protests from locals.
Ricky was given the green light by the council on the grounds that he has to stick to a strict eco-plan as creating the court necessitated chopping down nine historic trees and and ripping out three-quarters of the lawn, plus a waterfall, pergola and retaining walls.
But some of his neighbours were furious with the plans mainly due to the noise from the tennis players and any spectators, the newly planted trees will take decades to reach maturity, and the risk of flooding.
