Rami Malek spoke about his relationship with longtime partner Emma Corrin in a new interview published by The Guardian.
The 43-year-old Bohemian Rhapsody actor and 29-year-old Nosferatu star have been dating, at least publicly, since July 2023.
‘That person [is] fascinating,’ Malek said of his romantic counterpart, who uses ‘they/them’ pronouns.
When reporter Charlotte Edwardes described Corrin as ‘smart and quirky,’ he played coy, simply replying, ‘We like quirky.’
At another point in the conversation, he mentioned having stayed in the previous night to watch Dr Strangelove with them, but generally steered clear of divulging too much about his relationship and personal life.
Malek also shared that Corrin organized a surprise Thanksgiving dinner for him last year, which ‘blew him away.’

Emma came out as non-binary in 2022 and told Vogue at the time, ‘In my mind, gender just isn’t something that feels fixed and I don’t know if it ever will be; there might always be some fluidity there for me.’
The Hollywood star added, ‘I like people. My first date with a girl, they were like, “Oh! You’re a baby queer!”
‘It was amazing. We actually didn’t end up seeing each other again, but she really gave me the lowdown.’
They added, ‘I’m working out all this complex gender and Sєxuality stuff. And yet, I’m seeing a guy? That feels very juxtaposed, even if I’m very happy.’
In the new Guardian feature, Rami recalled growing up in Southern California, sharing that his father, an Egyptian immigrant, only embraced American culture to an extent.
He explained, ‘But there was also a definite… I won’t say alienating yourself from certain aspects of the culture, but definitely not accepting them.’
He elaborated, ‘I’m what’s called “white pᴀssing,” but I have very distinctive features, and we definitely didn’t fit in.’
Rami is gearing up to star in the Sophocles tragedy Oedipus from January 21 through March 29 in London.

‘There’s something about being able to go to the Tate or the RA or Barbican, and The National and the BFI, that reminds you of what got you here in the first place,’ the seasoned actor told Vogue about the London theatres.
He added, ‘I’ve been working in this country for quite some time and I’ve just quite literally fallen in love with it. I feel so at home here, oddly.’
