Dua Lipa’s affinity for fun and experimental outfits has found a new accomplice in It girl brand Chopova Lowena.
In her latest Instagram pH๏τo dump, the “Sweetest Pie” singer shared pH๏τos of a new outfit composed of statement pieces from the London-based designer. Channeling the ’90s punk style scene, Lipa looked edgy in a mesh crisscrossed bra featuring a black-and-green checkered pattern with tiny maroon flowers and a shiny lime green skirt with multiple strap and bow details, and the same flowers in black.
She tagged her little brother, Gjin Lipa, in her caption, writing, “me by @gjinlipa 🍄.”
This isn’t the first time that Lipa has repped Chopova Lowena on her Instagram.
Earlier this summer, she shared pH๏τos of herself posing on a yacht while wearing the label’s highly coveted plaid belted miniskirt, a purple-and-black iteration that featured a studded embellished heart and red-and-blue flower decals on the belt. She paired the piece with a white collared shirt with flared cutout sleeves, also from Chopova Lowena, as well as black boots and H๏τ pink rectangular shades from Balenciaga, and a snakeskin mini bag from KNWLS.
“I always try to find designers that are up and coming, especially when I’m in a certain city,” Lipa told Refinery29 in 2018. “If I was in Berlin, for example, I’d try to wear designers from there. It’s important to explore and try new things, and grow with those designers that are up and coming since I’m an up-and-coming artist, too. This way, we can grow and change together.”
