Love Island: All Stars fans were quick to claim Luca Bish was ‘back to his old ways’ as he found himself in the middle of a love triangle during Sunday’s episode.

Following his turbulent romance with Gemma Owen on the show, it appeared that Luca was a changed man upon his return to the villa, having held back from finding a connection during his first days in the villa.

However, following the arrival of Tina Stinnes, he expressed his interest in her, despite previously admitting he was still open to getting to know Kaz Crossley, sparking criticism from some viewers.

On Sunday night’s jam-packed episode, Luca pulled Kaz for a chat on the bean bags. 

They ended up as the last two without a couple earlier this week and so were forced to couple up. 

Luca admitted he had been closed off to Kaz, saying: ‘I have held off, but since we’ve been coupled up we’ve had some nicer chats and I feel at ease with you.’

A visibly pleased Kaz then replied: ‘Good, I want you to feel at ease’.

Luca mentioned they would be sharing a bed tonight and after agreeing to cuddle that night, Kaz had a suggestion: ‘We could be like a friends with benefits?’ and they laughed.

However later, Luca was keen for a chat with new bombshell Tina Stinnes – pulling her into the sunbeds where an audience watched.

He asked Tina for a kiss, she said: ‘I’m not kissing right here in the middle.’ 

But after, the pair did share a quick kiss to whoops and cheers from the rest of the villa, while Luca said: ‘I can do better.’

Noting Luca’s history in the villa, when he was accused of misogyny and ‘controlling behaviour’ towards Gemma, some viewers quick to slam his treatment of Kaz by kissing Tina.

However, others were to share their enjoyment at Luca’s unpredictable moves, with one branding ‘this version of him great.’

Elsewhere in Sunday’s episode, host Maya Jama made a surprise return to the villa, where it was revealed that Tina would finally have to choose a boy to steal and couple up with.

After much thought, she chose to pair up with Scott, meaning Indian Reynolds became the first to be dumped from the island this series.

The episode then ended with the shocking news that two more bombshells will be heading into the villa in Monday’s show: Grace Jackson and Ron Hall.

Love Island continues on Monday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
