Alison Hammond packed on the PDA on Saturday as she stopped to smooch her toyboy boyfriend David in the streets of London, shutting down rumours that the couple have split.

The This Morning presenter, 49, sparked speculation that she secretly parted ways with David, 27, after spending Christmas apart.

However, she has now made sure to show that their romance is still going strong as they couldn’t keep their hands off each other during the loved-up stroll to the shops.

Alison wrapped up for the cold weather in a long green padded trench coat paired with navy sports leggings and trainers.

She accessorised with a chic pink beret and matching aviator sunglᴀsses, before throwing on a black crossbody bag to carry around her essentials.

The star was glowing as she went makeup-free for the outing, elevating her natural beauty as she wrapped her arms around her equally stylish partner.

David opted for comfort in a a tan tracksuit, paired with a grey and black houndstooth scarf and a fashionable leather jacket.

The besotted couple were all smiles as they carried back a bag of food from the shops with their arms wrapped around each other.

They stopped for a moment to share a kiss, with Alison leaning up and wrapping her arms around her lover, who is 22 years her junior. 

It comes just one day after Alison appeared fresh-faced as she enjoyed a well-needed day off from work with her lover.

The split rumours swirled after the couple seemingly spent the festive period apart.

Alison’s boyfriend was seen in an Instagram snap enjoying a sun-soaked holiday as he posed on the beach wearing an open colourful shirt.

While David rocked a beige sunhat and sunglᴀsses as he walked along the beach, Alison stayed in the UK doing the Peter Pan pantomime in Birmingham.

The ITV star has been doing a 65-show run at the Hippodrone playing the Magical Mermaid and is reportedly earning around £3,000 per show.

Alison opened up on the relationship in Good Housekeeping UK’s January issue, admitting her and David ‘fit like a jigsaw’ as she revealed their traits balance each other out.

Speaking about their age gap, Alison said: ‘I can see how, on paper, you’d notice the age difference. But honestly, when we see the word “toyboy” written about us, it bears no relation to what we have at all.

‘Yes, I’m 22 years older than he is, but if you saw us together, you’d understand. People have said to me: “We get it now.” He’s so mature and sensible, and I’m so not.

She added: ‘And the things he says to me…they’re just so lovely. It’s like a jigsaw; we fit and it all comes together.’

Alison’s comments about her boyfriend David are the first time she has spoken in depth about him, after mentioning him on This Morning in November.

A woman, named Anita, called to tell Alison how happy she had made her feel while they were on a train together earlier in the year.

Anita said: ‘Alison Hammond you are a wonderful person who made a lady feel so special. My husband was the guard, I had been invited on because I’d just finished chemotherapy and radiotherapy.’

Alison added: ‘I remember you, you came into my cabin area!’

The caller carried on: ‘You never rushed me out, you asked me everything I’d gone through, how much weight I’d lost. Alison, I know you’re from the Midlands, we’re such special people.

Alison said: ‘Yes, I’m 22 years older than he is, but if you saw us together, you’d understand’

‘We’ve always got a smile and a kind word. I’m like yourself, I’m kind, but sometimes you do get hurt being kind. But you, Alison, I can’t tell you what you did that day.’

At the end of the call Alison confessed that Anita had not mentioned that when she saw her, she was with her boyfriend.

Alison confessed: ‘Anita, whats lovely about you, you haven’t mentioned who I was with. That was my very first date with my boyfriend. You met my boyfriend before anybody else knew about it!’

Anita confirmed: ‘He’s so tall!’

Alison has opted to keep her relationship with David mostly private as she rarely attends events or posts pictures of them on social media.
