Fans have urged fellow TV buffs to watch the ‘best sci-fi show EVER’ as it solidifies a whopping 95% Rotten Tomatoes score.
The Expanse, which premiered a decade ago, is based on the thrilling novels by James S. A. Corey and has been hailed as a ‘hidden gem’.
But in a huge blow to fans, the Sci-fi show is being pulled from streaming platform Amazon Prime.
The drama is set 200 years in the future and sees Holden (Steven Strait) and the crew of the Rocinante fight alongside the Combined Fleet of Earth and Mars to protect the Inner Planets.
Their inner planets are being threatened by Marco Inaros (Keon Alexander) and his Free Navy’s campaign of death and destruction.
But if that was not enough to handle, a new power rises on a distant planet beyond the Rings.

The show’s first three seasons aired on the TV channel SyFy before moving to Amazon Prime Video for the final three seasons.
Amazon has revealed that for British subscribers, The Expanse – which stars actors including Wes Chatham, Dominique Tipper and Chrisjen Avasarala – will be removed within the next 30 days, according to the Metro.
In a post shared on Reddit, user stolencheesecake asked if the show was being dropped and penned: ‘Has anyone else noticed that The Expanse is listed under “тιтles expiring in the next 30 days”? Is this intentional? Is it season-by-season only?’
They added that ‘this seems regional to UK and/or Europe’, and might only affect the show’s first season.
Metro also reported that The Expanse was listed in the category of TV shows expiring within the next 30 days.
Reacting to the Reddit post, another user called Common_Tiger1526 commented: ‘Glad I asked for a physical copy of this series for Christmas,’ while palebelief added: ‘Reason #47632 why possessing physical copies of media is good.’
And their upset is likely shared among other fans as the show secured a score of 95% on Rotten Tomatoes’ Tomatometer, with one critic raving that it could be ‘the best show on Prime Video’.
One critic penned: ‘It might be the best show on Prime Video…’

‘The Expanse is the best sci-fi TV show since Battlestar Galactica.’
‘If well-researched science fiction is your bag, season two of The Expanse is sure to thrill, confound, and delight in equal measure. Just make sure you’re paying attention.’
‘It’s some of the most compelling, intelligent and immersive genre fiction on television, and it’s back in peak form.’
