Curtis Pritchard’s villa comeback has set off some unexpected feelings among Love Island viewers.
Four years ago the Stoke-On-Trent dancer, 28, sasheyed onto Love Island as a bombshell but his cringe-worthy flirting, his purple lycra shorts, and his insistence on making coffee over cuddling gave viewers the ick.
His post-villa swift split from fan favourite Maura Higgins and his TV flops on the likes of Hollyoaks and Channel 4’s Stand-Up and Deliver only added to the cringe factor.
The announcement that he was making his return to the ITV2 show for the All Stars series caused mᴀss anticipation, if little hope, about whether his dating skills had improved.
But just days into the series and Curtis has proven everyone wrong, with viewers dubbing him ‘the ultimate glow up’.

First impressions are everything in the villa and Curtis ensured he was ready for five weeks of shirtless scenes with an incredible body transformation.
He famously admitted that he gained two stone during his first stint on the show after enjoying too much late night cheesecake.
After cruel trolls fat-shamed him, he lost three stone after leaving the show and has kept up his ‘healthy relationship with food’ after years of embarking on questionable diets when he was a professional dancer.
Strutting into the villa on Monday night, viewers were left in awe at his huge biceps golden tan and chiseled six pack, with even the show’s stunning host Maya Jama unable to resist a gawp at his ‘little glow up.’
‘Lowkey fancy Curtis Pritchard, when did he get so good looking???’ begged one fan on Twitter.
Curtis has also managed to impress the villa girls with his confidence.
As the first episode unfolded, the girls were left disappointed by the men’s collective flirting skills, with only Curtis having the confidence to walk over and pull someone for a chat.
All Stars favourite Kaz Crossley was left swooning over the dancer, gushing during their first night conversation: ‘I think you’re very masculine and I like the energy’.

This time around the girls are even appreciative of Curtis’ famous coffee making skills.
Curtis had previously admitted he has been haunted by the viral ‘coffee clip’ from his first villa stint which saw his partner Amy Hart begging him: ‘If someone likes you they want to have a cuddle in bed with you in the morning.’
In the viral video Curtis replies: ‘I know, and I also want to be the person that gets up and makes everyone a coffee so everyone is ready for the morning.’
Curtis was ridiculed for the line by fans, with the moment going down in Love Island history.
Despite years of ridicule he has slipped straight back into his old ways, making Kaz a drink during their first morning – a ‘cute’ move which hugely impressed her and the girls.

‘As if Curtis is the first person to come in, have a chat with everyone, first person to bring a coffee…’ Gabby Allen mused as a delighted Kaz declared: ‘Yes, that’s the energy!’
Curits and Kaz’s flirting over coffee swiftly came to an end though with the entrance of Love Island icon Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, who made a shock steal just 24 hours in.

Ekin-Su was entranced by Curtis’ chat. Laying it on thick, Curtis told Ekin: ‘You have beautiful eyes’, to which Ekin replied: ‘I know right now from what I’ve had in here, I’ve had a 10/10 connection thing in here with you.’
And confidently sealing the deal, Curtis leaned in for a snog, telling her: ‘Kissing is very important to me, it teaches you a lot about somebody.’

First time around, Curtis made it to the final with Maura Higgins, only for their romance to fizzle out weeks after leaving the villa
Curtis himself has a simple answer as to the secret to his renaissance, explaining before he entered the villa: ‘I’m more mature, I’m older, I’m at different points in my life.’
‘I feel very just mentally driven, physically driven in life, and I just want to go in with open mindedness. I’m not trying to create any game plans, not trying to think of how I want this to go or think of previous times because they are different times in my life.
‘Different times, different programme, different people. So I just want to go in this really open-minded and organic, that’s the best way to hopefully create a real relationship out of this.’
Curtis’ desire to find love comes as he confessed that his dating life has been ‘non-existent’ as he opened up about his split from his last partner Sophie Sheridan.
He explained: ‘I haven’t been on that many dates to be fair. So I had a girlfriend just previously and it obviously didn’t work out.
‘You know, love doesn’t always doesn’t always last and sometimes people, they they fall out of love so that that’s what happened with that one and that’s why I’m here now’.
