Coronation Street spoilers: DNA drama for Daisy and judgement day for Lauren after courtroom showdown

Lauren buckles in court, Leanne gets drunk and disorderly, Abi hides her troubles, Bethany’s leaving town and tragedy strikes for a Street pet next week.

1. Abi covers her demons

Toyah overhears Roy telling Kevin about Abi’s hallucinations. 

Abi is left furious when Toyah tries to talk to her about grief counselling and soon accuses Toyah of trying to get her hands on Alfie. 

Meanwhile, Abi insists to Kevin that Roy got the wrong end stick, but it’s clear she’s bluffing.

2. Bethany makes an offer

Bethany makes a huge decision about her future 

Daniel wants to know if the baby is his and tells Daisy they need to get a DNA test.

Meanwhile, Bethany discovers that the job she was offered is still available and decides to accept it.

But how will Daniel respond when he returns from the DNA test and Bethany asks him to move to London with her?

3. Roy testifies for Lauren

Roy heads to court to testify in Lauren’s trial 

Lauren’s trial continues, and she is relieved to have someone speak up for her as Roy takes the stand and tells the court what a kind and caring person Lauren is. 

However, little does Lauren know her day is about to take a terrible turn.

4. A shock in court

As Roy makes his testimony, there’s a rude interruption. 

Lauren is shocked to see a girl she had an altercation with in prison shouting from the public gallery. 

With her arm in a sling, Brie tells the court that Lauren attacked her. What will the jury make of the outburst?

5. Bad news for Lauren

As the trial continues, Lauren is upset when her barrister tells her that baby Frankie is poorly and has been moved to hospital. 

Devastated that she is stuck in the dock and can’t go to her son, Lauren loses her cool and tells the court that she is glad Joel is ᴅᴇᴀᴅ.

6. Lauren gives up hope

Later at the hospital, Lauren tells Max that they have confirmed that Frankie is fighting an infection. 

Lauren feels regretful about losing her temper in court and is more and more convinced that she is going to prison. 

Worried sick about her son, she tells Max that she no longer cares about the trial, all she wants is Frankie to get better.

7. The pressure’s on for Daisy

Daisy is left embarrᴀssed when she finds out that Bethany is pregnant

Bethany celebrates her new job at the Rovers, but Daisy is mortified when Bethany reveals that she knows that she’s pregnant, having found her discarded pregnancy tests. 

Daisy’s relieved when Bethany ᴀssumes the baby is Kit’s and wishes her well.

However, with Kit and Daniel both in the Rovers, and Daisy facing an anxious wait for the paternity test results, the situation starts to overwhelm her.

8. Daisy takes to the mic

When Bethany reveals that she and Daniel have set a wedding date, Daisy sees red.

With the Rovers quiz underway, will Daisy reveal something to the ᴀssembled locals which she’ll regret? 

Later, Daisy doubles over in pain and Jenny takes her to hospital. When Kit arrives, Daisy invites him to stay for the scan.

9. Lauren faces her future

Lauren stays by Frankie’s bedside as the court case reaches its final stages. 

When Dee-Dee tells Lauren that the jury are struggling to come to an agreement, Lauren fears this is a bad sign. 

Later, Lauren returns to the court as the jury delivers their verdict…

10. Leanne flirts up a storm

Leanne ends up flirting while in the Bistro 

Leanne is on a mission to party and heads to the Bistro where she helps herself to a bottle of wine. 

When she spots Ronnie sitting alone after a row with Debbie, a drunk Leanne is soon draping herself over him and flirtily suggesting that they have some fun. 

However, she’s horrified to realise that Sam has arrived and witnessed her behaviour.

11. Woof justice for Shona and David?

A fluffy surprise appears on the Cobbles - which leaves some of the residents shocked

Shona and David realise that Harvey’s cronies are circling and make a pact to keep the kids close at all times. 

Later, the couple are horrified when Michael arrives with David the dog wrapped in a blanket, explaining that he found the pooch at the side of a road. 

Realising their pet has been hit by a car, David fears this is Harvey’s doing. Soon, David takes desperate measures to keep his family safe.

12. Cᴀssie caught out?

Daniel warns Ken not to trust Cᴀssie, explaining that Bertie saw her slipping something into Ken’s drink and then swore the lad to secrecy. 

Concerned, Ken confronts Cᴀssie over Daniel’s allegations. Is her spiking scheme about to be exposed?

13. Leanne’s morning from hell

Leanne is left feeling worse for wear when she's hungover and rushing to get to court

Leanne is left feeling worse for wear when she’s hungover and rushing to get to court 

A hungover Leanne realises that she is due in court and rushes to get there. 

Debbie spots her and spitefully runs her car through a puddle, soaking Leanne.

 Seeing her predicament, Toyah insists on taking her sister to court, but after the hearing, Leanne tells Toyah that she wants nothing more to do with her.

14. Bethany makes a move

Bethany decides to take the plunge and move to the city

Bethany decides to take the plunge and move to the city 

As Bethany prepares for the move to London, Sarah and Daniel carry her things out of the flat. 

Sarah spots Daisy and soon has a go at her for ruining her daughter’s relationship.

Later, Daisy receives the DNA result, but deletes it after reading it, insisting to a shocked Jenny that the baby’s father is irrelevant.
