Anthony is murdered, Laurel is on the attack, Dawn faces a dilemma and Charity’s on the warpathnext week.

1. Death in the Dales

In the wake of Anthony’s dark past being exposed, his enemies are lining up. 

By the end of the week, the vile abuser will be ᴅᴇᴀᴅ. 

We’ll see Ruby, Caleb, Cain, Laurel, Nicola and Aaron all in the frame, but who does the deed and will they get away with it?

2. Anthony gets close to Angel

Anthony and Angel get close while Nicola is out 

Anthony wakes up on the sofa at Laurel’s with a hangover. 

He soon gets to work on another tutoring session with Angelica and Nicola leaves the pair alone unsupervised, still ignorant of Anthony’s dark past.

3. Cain learns the truth

Chas and Cain have a heart to heart about he ends up learning the truth 

Cain realises that Chas is emotional about something and realising it’s to do with Ruby, worries that Chas may know about their secret liaison. 

However, he’s left shocked when instead Chas reveals the horrifying truth about Ruby and Anthony. With Cain reeling from what he knows, will he have murderous intentions? 

Meanwhile, later Aaron is unnerved to spot an exchange between Anthony and Ruby. How will he react if he discovers the truth?

4. Nicola confronts Anthony

Nicola is fuming that Angelica was left along with Anthony 

On hearing that Nicola has left Angelica alone with Anthony, Chas is quick to fill her in on Anthony’s dark past. 

In a panic, Nicola arrives home and confronts Anthony. 

As she accuses him of being a danger to children, he snaps and a fight ensues.

5. Laurel strikes a blow

Laurel lashes out on Anthony with a stick 

Things turn physically threatening for Nicola with Anthony, but Laurel arrives in the nick of time. 

Taking in the scene, she grabs a candlestick and bashes Anthony over the head.

 Anthony lies motionless and the two women look on in shock, afraid he’s ᴅᴇᴀᴅ.

6. Nicola fears the worst

Anthony is sent to hospital, but goes missing when Nicola turns up to check on him 

Later, with Anthony missing, a worried Nicola turns up at A&E to find out if he has been admitted. 

However, her awkward enquiries soon leave a nurse suspicious.

7. Laurel turns to God

Laurel ends up getting anxious about what has happened with Anthony and turns to God 

Laurel is a wreck after her altercation with Anthony, worried about what she may have done. 

On the edge, she heads to the church and seeks religious guidance. 

With Laurel already having relapsed at Christmas, can her faith stop her heading down the same path again?

8. Steph is suspicious

Steph quizzes Ruby and Caleb about Anthony’s whereabouts 

Steph picks up on the tense atmosphere in the house and quizzes Ruby and Caleb about Anthony’s whereabouts. 

Could one of her parents be hiding a guilty secret? Meanwhile, at Caleb’s yard, Anthony’s bloody tooth glistens unseen on the ground. 

Will the missing molar catch out the killer?

9. Joe and Kim bond over the past

Joe and Kim get closer while sitting on a bench in the graveyard 

Joe and Kim have a heart to heart in the graveyard, and the pair talk about Graham, Kim’s ex-husband who was a father figure to Joe. 

Kim can’t bury her grief over Will, but she is buoyed when Joe offers her his full support.

10. Dawn gets a dodgy offer?

Dawn is offered a job at Home Farm – but will she take it? 

With Dawn and Billy struggling with their jobs and the kids, Kim suggests that Dawn quits the vets and works for the Home Farm operation, which will keep her closer to home. 

However, she’s shocked to discover that Joe will now be her new boss and suspects that he has orchestrated the whole move.

11. Lust for Joe and Dawn

Joe and Dawn get close and end  up locking lips 

Dawn confronts Joe over the job offer and his motives doing it. 

However, pᴀssion takes over as the pair end up kissing. 

Joe and Dawn retire to the bedroom but afterwards Dawn feels more guilty than ever at cheating on her husband.

12. Joe told to watch his step

Joe and Charity come head to head 

Joe continues to win over Noah as he gifts him a family heirloom. 

Charity spots the watch and immediately knows that it has come from Joe. 

Rocking up to Home Farm she hands Joe back the watch and orders him to leave her son alone. But is she fighting a losing battle?

13. Dawn confesses her sins?

Dawn gears up to confess to Billy about her kiss with Joe 

Billy returns home from hospital with Evan after his first outpatient chemo appointment, and Dawn’s guilt threatens to overwhelm her as she looks at her husband and their son. 

Later, Dawn can take no more and prepares to confess all to Billy about Joe.

14. What’s wrong with Joe?

Dawn finds Joe pᴀssed out at the wheel of his car 

Dawn is shocked to find Joe slumped at the wheel of his car and a mysterious bottle of pills on the floor. 

As she asks for answers, will Joe finally open up about his mysterious medical issues?
