Skai Jackson looked ready to pop when she was spotted taking her dog to the vet on Wednesday.

The 22-year-old pregnant actress was seen carrying her adorable little dog Otis after he had an appointment at a veterinarian’s office in Los Angeles’ tony Sherman Oaks neighborhood.

Skai, who announced her pregnancy in November, displayed the outline of her prominent baby bump under a pale gray T-shirt.

She kept her look simple and nondescript with matching gray leggings, and she added a bit of contrast with cozy brown Ugg boots.

The Disney Channel actress — whose baby daddy was arrested late last year — wore long dark braids draped down her shoulders and back, and she added some flash with gold heart-shaped earrings and a gold necklace.

She held little Otis under one arm while clutching his paperwork from the bet, and she cooled down with a blue bedazzled tumbler in her other hand.

In 2019, Skai spoke to The Cut about falling in love with a dog at an adoption service when she was a nine- or 10-year-old child actor.

That dog got adopted before she had a time to snatch him up, but then she discovered Otis, who was about 10 months old at the time and sick. 

Despite her concerns and lingering heartbreak over the dog that got away, Otis proved to be the perfect fit for her and her family once she took him home. 

She recalled bringing the black-and-white dog to the set of her Disney Channel series Jessie because he ‘wasn’t a barker’ who would distract from the production.

‘Most people didn’t even realize that there was a dog there because he’s so quiet,’ she said approvingly.

Skai’s pregnancy got off to a bumpy start last year when her baby daddy Deondre Burgin — whom she initially kept anonymous — was arrest in Cincinnati, Ohio, just a day after she revealed she was expecting.

Police said in a report Wednesday reviewed by TMZ that Burgin — whom the outlet identified as her boyfriend — initially fled the scene when they approached him over a juvenile parole violation warrant.

Burgin tripped, fell and suffered a cut on his cheek in the encounter, according to the outlet, after which police placed him in handcuffs.

The outing comes after Skai revealed she was pregnant in November. One day later, her baby daddy Deondre Burgin was taken into custody in Cincinnati, Ohio, after a botched foot chase with officers 

Burgin was released after receiving a citation for misdemeanor obstruction of official business, police sources told the outlet.

Jackson defended her reported boyfriend — while stopping short of explicitly revealing his idenтιтy — after a blogger shared a message he allegedly wrote about her following her pregnancy announcement.

Just after she announced her pregnancy, a man going by ‘Yerkky Yerkky’ allegedly posted to Facebook: ‘On woop im salty i got this dumb a** Disney Chanel (sic) b**** pregnant I hate this h**.’

Blogger Tasha K posted the comment to her Instagram, prompting a fiery message from Jackson and her mother Kiya Cole.

Jackson insisted her love interest’s Facebook account had been hacked, writing in the comments section: ‘His page was hacked! He never said this. End of story.’

Her mother posted: ‘HE NEVER SAID THIS!!!! Stop being messy!!!’

The post no longer appears on the page and pH๏τos of a pregnant Jackson were shared to the account with a sweet smiling face with hearts emoji.

In pH๏τos posted by the outlet, Jackson displayed her baby bump in a lilac crop top as she enjoyed an outing with her mother Kiya Cole.

It comes after Jackson sparked pregnancy rumors last week while spotted in Los Angeles cradling her stomach.

The pregnancy news comes several months after Jackson was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery but not charged.

In September it was revealed that the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office declined to file charges and dropped the case against her.

She was previously arrested on August 8 at Universal Studios CityWalk in Los Angeles, California after an alleged altercation with her boyfriend.

Police responded to a call from the theme park after security personnel detained Jackson for allegedly pushing her boyfriend.

Deputies reviewed the surveillance footage of the alleged incident.

Burgin, identified by TMZ as Jackson’s beau, was pictured this past May on an Instagram account with 83,600 followers under the handle @richnviolent and a header reading, ‘NETWORKK YERKK’

No weapons were involved and there were no any identifiable injuries, the sheriff’s department confirmed at the time.

‘Skai is relieved that the investigation revealed that this was nothing more than a misunderstanding,’ a representative for Jackson said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE.

‘We appreciate that the DA determined very quickly that there should be no charges of any kind and Skai looks forward to putting this behind her,’ it continued.

At the time of her arrest, law enforcement sources told TMZ she told the arresting officers she was ‘happily engaged and expecting a baby.’

The star – who avoided questions from fans in regards to her arrest – did not have charges filed against her due to prosecutors finding a lack of evidence, TMZ reported.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office informed the outlet that the case will not go forward due to Jackson not having any criminal history.

The alleged victim, her boyfriend, does not have any injuries and had also not been cooperating with prosecutors.

Jackson is best known for her roles on Disney Channel sitcom Jessie and its spinoff Bunk’d, both of which ended in 2018.
