Kobe Bryant’s widow Vanessa Bryant made a confession while volunteering for Baby2Baby to help pack boxes of $2M worth of emergency supplies for families who’ve lost everything in the LA wildfires.
The 42-year-old socialite revealed that she and the late NBA legend lived in the Pacific Palisades when they first got married in 2001, and that home ‘was on the street where the initial fire started.’
‘We have so many beautiful memories from living in LA,’ Vanessa – who boasts 15.8M Instagram/Facebook followers – wrote on Tuesday.
‘There are no words to make all the loss and devastation any better. My heart and prayers go out to everyone in LA who are affected by the fires. Our @mambamambacitasports is currently working to help the LA community. We love you, LA! We Love you @baby2baby!’
Bryant (born Cornejo) made sure to sign a personal note that went inside each of the packages of essentials she boxed up.

On August 2, the Los Angeles Lakers unveiled the Kobe and Gianna Bryant Memorial Statue, created by artist Karon Davis and the Fine Art Studio of Rotblatt-Amrany, which was unveiled outside the Crypo.com Arena in downtown LA.

The second of the three statues set to memorialize Bryant has the following inscription: ‘Gianna is a beat, and she’s better than I was at her age. She’s better than I was at her age. She’s got it. Girls are amazing. I would have five more if I could. I’m a girl dad.’
