Kyle Richards thought Real Housewives of Beverly Hills costar Garcelle Beauvais was being an ‘a*****e’ for her comment about her Sєxuality.

Her comments took place on Tuesday’s After Show – following the latest episode of the series.

On the show, Kyle, 56, was speaking out about her separation from estranged husband Mauricio Umansky.

Garcelle, 58, interrupted her and said she was going to be ‘100 percent blunt,’ and told her: ‘Do whatever the f**k you want to do. Be whoever you want to be. If you want to be a lesbian, be a lesbian.’

Kyle looked flabbergasted at the comments, with Erika and Sutton Stracke also looking utterly shocked at Garcelle’s bold comments.

Kyle has continuously denied that she is romanced involved with her pal, country singer Morgan Wade.

During the After Show, Kyle, who was seated with co-star Erika Jayne, reflected on the moment. 

Kyle said on the After Show: ‘What was really going through my head was, “You’re being an a******’ right now,’ referring to Garcelle.

Adding: ‘Don’t try to act like oopsie daisies. You know exactly what you’re doing.’ 

Kyle thought perhaps Garcelle was trying to ‘get a reaction’ from her, adding: ‘What I did care about it was, where are you getting at?’

She added that Garcelle didn’t apologize to her. 

Garcelle was on the After Show as well, seated with co-stars Sutton and Jennifer Tilly.

Garcelle gave more context behind her comments.

‘Where I was coming from that night when I said it, it was about we are grown a** women. We’re people’s mothers, we’re people’s grandmother,’ Garcelle said.

‘I wasn’t pushing her to come out. What I was saying is be whoever you want to be,’ she added. 

‘I’m not trying to call her out. Own it, be authentic. I feel like Kyle cares a lot about what people think and how this is gonna look and how that’s gonna look – and she’s trying to figure it out,’ Garcelle said.

The actress said that in their age group, women ‘don’t have to worry so much’ about people’s opinions, noting that the public ‘can connect’ more when they are being real and authentic.

‘If this is who you are or even if you’re discovering it, discover it and own it,’ Garcelle said.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star separated with her husband Mauricio Umansky in July 2023.

Richards and Umansky, who have been married for 27 years, share daughters: Alexia, 28, Sophia, 24, and Portia, 16.

The star also shares daughter, Farrah, 36, with ex-husband, Guraish Aldjufrie.

Kyle and Wade first began hanging out in February 2023, when the singer appeared in a group pH๏τo shared onto the reality star’s Instagram page.

In the caption, Kyle penned, ‘I stalked @morganwademusic on IG after listening to her music while driving solo from Utah to Colorado while making #housewivesofthenorthpole & today we met up in person for the 1st time.’

The mother of four concluded with, ‘The most unlikely of friendships some may think but kinship knows no boundaries.’

Kyle is producing a documentary on Morgan – including exploring her rise to fame, drug addiction battles and her double mastectomy due to having a faulty gene which increases the risk of cancer.

TMZ reported at the time that Richards is the executive producer and will also appear on camera.

In July 2024, Richards denied that there was anything romantic between her and Morgan and told TMZ that she was ‘not single.’

On the topic of Morgan, she also insisted to the outlet that they were ‘very good friends.’

While Wade appeared on season 13 of RHOBH, she did not want to be in season 14, Kyle revealed in November to Page Six.

She added that they had to reduce the amount of time spent with each other because of Kyle filming and Wade not wanting to be on camera.

‘I think she just didn’t want any part of anything to do with my role [on] reality television and all that came with it. And you know the paparazzi and all that was very overwhelming. So I understood that and respected that… I’m an open book, but I cannot speak to other people’s lives of experiences when they have not signed up to do this and don’t want to be a part of this… I think anybody would be overwhelmed in that situation,’ she told the outlet. 

Kyle was spotted with ex Mauricio in Aspen over the New Year – along with their children – after it was reported that she was left ‘heartbroken’ when he was seen kissing a ʙικιɴι model in Aspen.
