Caitlyn Jenner ‘will attend’ Donald Trump’s second presidential inauguration

Caitlyn Jenner is just one of the attendees on the star-studded list that will attend Donald Trump’s second presidential election on January 20 in Washington D.C. 

The TV personality, 75 – who revealed in November that she voted for Trump during the 2024 election – notably made an appearance when he was sworn into office for his first term in the White House. 

Sources confirmed to TMZ on Wednesday that Jenner will fly to the inauguration alongside other celebrities such as Logan and Jake Paul, Elon Musk, Amber Rose, Dana White and Megyn Kelly. 

Theo Von and the Nelk Boys – both of whom Trump interviewed with before the latest election – will also be in attendance. Carrie Underwood is performing.

The event is set to take place next Monday on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol as the president-elect starts his second term alongside JD Vance as the 50th vice president.

However, some stars have turned down an invitation to the inauguration, including Dr. Phil, per TMZ.

The television host instead has decided to remain in Texas in order to report on the live event on his Merit TV network.

Savannah Chrisley is reportedly not able to make an appearance due to scheduling conflicts while Roseanne Barr will keep it lowkey for day. 

It comes not long after it was revealed Carrie Underwood will perform America The Beautiful at the inauguration in less than a week – which divided fans. 

On Monday, the singer broke her silence to address the controversial performance and expressed in a statement, per USA Today, that she was ‘honored’ to sing at the event.

‘I love our country and am honored to have been asked to sing at the Inauguration and to be a small part of this historic event.’ 

Underwood added, ‘I am humbled to answer the call at a time when we must all come together in the spirit of unity and looking to the future.’ 

Caitlyn has been vocal about her support for Trump, and two months earlier in November, jumped to X to reveal to her followers that she had cast her vote for him and JD Vance on her ballot. 

The former Olympian also wrote at the time, ‘I voted. Even in “blue” California. CA has far more Trump supporters than you’d imagine! No matter how blue you think your state is – VOTE!’

The star also stated that she has gotten more criticism for being a Trump supporter than when she transitioned to a woman nearly 10 years earlier in June 2015. 

In the comment section, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians alum wrote, ‘I’ve said for years, it was easier to come out as trans than a Trump supporter.’

‘I lost my TV career, endorsement deals, commercial deals, etc. lol it’s insane,’ Caitlyn also shared. 

And after Trump defeated Kamala Harris, Jenner uploaded a pH๏τo of herself posing with the president-elect, as well as his granddaughter Kai Trump and Elon Musk at Mar-a-Lago. 

She notably made an offer to Trump in the caption of the post which read: ‘Hope is back in America.’ 

‘These two men will single-handedly save western civilization and that starts with a strong United States of America. I am here and at your service and forever indebted to your sacrifice for this country. Let’s Make America Great Again!’ 

During an interview with Fox News at the time, Jenner expressed that she has the ‘upmost respect’ for both Trump and Musk. 

‘What Donald Trump has gone through to become the next president – 47th president of the United States. I mean, no human being could go through that and come out like he did.’

Caitlyn added, ‘And I couldn’t be more proud of him. Elon Musk, I’ve been a fan of for years being in aviation. I met him years ago because of Space X and I’m just so impressed in what he’s done.’ 

‘And how he bought Twitter and now it’s X, how he’s bringing free speech back. I mean, those are two great Americans and I was so excited to get that picture.’ 

Along with her support for Trump, Jenner has been vocal about banning transwomen from playing against biological women in sports. 

While reposting an interview on Instagram of the president-elect on Fox News who discussed the topic, Jenner penned, ‘TRUMP: BAN MEN FROM WOMEN’S SPORTS! I agree 100% w/@realdonaldtrump.’ 

‘Kamala supports men and boys in sports with women and girls. It’s not safe and it’s not fair. It’s anti-woman!’ 

Kim Kardashian has also worked with Trump in the past during his first term for criminal justice reform. 

Along with Carrie Underwood, other music artists are set to perform at the 2025 inaugural events, such as the Village People – who are known for their hit Y.M.C.A.

Festivities before the big day are set to kick off later this weekend on Saturday at Trump’s golf club in Sterling, Virginia with a fireworks show, per TIME Magazine.

And on Sunday, Trump will take part in a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery. 

Afterwards, he will attend a ‘MAGA Victory’ rally at the Capital One Arena in downtown Washington D.C. 

On the day of the inauguration, a tea will be held at the White House with the Bidens as well as Melania Trump, followed by the swearing-in ceremony and a parade on Pennsylvania Avenue. 

A number of inaugural balls will also take place: the Commander in Chief Ball, Liberty Inaugural Ball and Starlight Ball. Trump is set to make an appearance and speak at all three.
