Chrissy Teigen shared she was ‘grateful’ to celebrate her daughter Esti’s second birthday at her $17.5 million home after being evacuated amid the devastating L.A. fires. 

The star, 39 – who fled to a H๏τel with her husband John Legend and four kids last week as the blazes neared their mansion – jumped to her Instagram stories on Monday to reveal the tasty cake she quickly made for the special celebration. 

The catastrophic infernos – including the Pacific Palisades and Eaton Fires – began on Tuesday, January 7 amid strong winds, with the death roll rising to 24.

Despite Teigen and her loved ones having to leave their residence on Wednesday, it appears they have since safely returned home. 

Chrissy uploaded a pH๏τo of a circular cake covered in thick, chocolate frosting while John Cena action figures were placed on top, with one holding a sugary cake pop. 

The model recently revealed on social media that her youngest daughter had become ‘obsessed’ with the WWE wrestler.

Sunlight streamed in through sliding glᴀss doors in the distance as she wrote, ‘Feeling grateful to be back home.’ 

‘This is all I could muster up for Esti’s birthday,’ the cookbook author added to her 41.9 million fans and followers. 

Last month in December, Teigen humorously showed that Esti was a big fan of John Cena and filmed the moment she gifted the little one action figures of the pro wrestler.

At the time, the toddler was seen holding a box that contained two plastic figures of Cena and she excitedly asked Teigen to open it. 

Another reel was taken as Esti played with the two dolls while inside the spacious living of the Beverly Hills mansion. 

‘A few months ago, Esti mysteriously became obsessed with John Cena,’ the mother-of-four penned in the caption. 

‘So I got her more John Cena’s and now she can’t do anything without a John Cena,’ Chrissy added. 

Teigen shares Esti, as well as Luna, eight, Miles, six, and Wren, one, with husband John Legend – whom she tied the knot with in 2013.

She had purchased the lavish abode in 2020 for $17.5 million with the All Of Me singer – and also completed a number of renovations which were shown to Architectural Digest in 2023.

Teigen took a mirror selfie as she packed items in a small suitcase while inside a large walk-in closet. 

The star partially covered her face with her hand and penned, ‘This is surreal I’m very scared now. packing.’ 

In another update, Chrissy announced to her followers that she and her family had made it to a H๏τel where they would stay until the evacuation order was dropped. 

While showing her adorable pups moving around the room, she wrote, ‘4 kids, 4 dogs and a bearded dragon walk into a H๏τel.’ 

She also filmed herself as she sat next to Legend on a bed as they awaited for updates on the fires. 

Teigen then uploaded a clip of herself with their bearded dragon, Sebastian, who was resting on her chest. ‘Gotta keep him warm,’ she explained.

Shortly before being evacuated, the TV personality had shared a pH๏τo of the flames amid the L.A. fires. 

‘I haven’t had the words, it is a hellscape. We are ok as of right now, and I felt weird saying that with so many people we know and don’t know who are not ok.’ 

Chrissy continued, ‘Thank you for reaching out. Looking for any and all ways to help our community right now, please send anything you see. And god bless the firefighters and first responders.’ 

A number of residents and celebrities have lost their homes amid the fires, such as Miles Teller, Billy Crystal, Anthony Hopkins, Tina Knowles, Paris Hilton, Joshua Jackson as well as Adam Brody and Leighton Meester. 

The blazes have destroyed around 12,000 structures – which include houses, schools and churches. 

The Palisades Fire which began early last week amid strong Santa Ana winds has burned around 23,700 acres and is now 17% contained as of Tuesday, per NBC News.

The Eaton Fire in the Altadena and Pasadena area has destroyed 14,100 acres and is 35% contained. 

80,000 people are still without power throughout Southern California, and L.A. mayor Karen Bᴀss issued an executive order on Monday to help rebuild homes at a quick pace, NBC reported. 

Bᴀss – who has faced severe criticism amid the fires – said in a statement: ‘This order is the first step in clearing away red tape and bureaucracy to organize around urgency, common sense and compᴀssion.’

However, high winds are expected through Wednesday of this week – with gusts in some areas set to hit around 40mph.
