Kylie Jenner missed the London premiere of her boyfriend Timothée Chalamet’s new film A Complete Unknown on Tuesday night.

The actor, 29, arrived to the event to promote the Bob Dylan biopic at BFI Southbank on a Lime Bike – but businesswoman and mother-of-two Kylie, 27, was nowhere to be seen.

It comes just a week after their PDA-filled appearance together at the Golden Globes in LA.

The A-list couple have largely kept their two year romance out of the spotlight with her rarely supporting him at premieres or acting events.

She did attend the after party of the Wonka premiere in London in November 2023 but did not walk the red carpet with him earlier in the night.

At the A Complete Unknown premiere on Tuesday night – which female lead Elle Fanning notable missed – Timothée stood out from the crowd as he arrived on a Lime bike.

The actor, who stars as the Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door hitmaker, 83, cruised down the red carpet on the green bike before successfully ending his ride via his mobile phone.

He cut a dapper figure in a black blazer and matching trousers, with a blue patterned satin shirt underneath. 

Hi co-star Monica Barbaro put on a very glamorous display in a plunging black figure-hugging gown as she arrived at the lavish event.

The movie focuses on Dylan’s early career, his transition from folk to rock, and his performance at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival, with Timothée being praised for his portrayal.

It comes after Timothée revealed he had ‘five years of singing practice’ ahead of his role as Dylan.

He both sings and plays the songs live in the drama which is set for release in January.

Appearing on The Graham Norton Show recently, he admitted to not knowing much about Bob before, but is now ‘deeply pᴀssionate’ about his cultural impact.

Timothée said: ‘I had a lot of time to practice because we were meant to make the film five and half years ago, then there was Covid and then there was the actors’ strike, so I have years to prepare.

‘I was confident about singing and by the time we got to do the film I wanted to sing and play the songs live.’

He added: ‘I didn’t know much about Dylan but now, having worked on it for so long, I really worship at the church of Bob.

‘I am deeply pᴀssionate about this man and his work. My friends are tired of hearing me talk about him ad nauseam.

‘This man has been so impactful on culture and this film and this role are the ones I am most proud of.’

The Oscar nominee, who did not have any face time with the hitmaker prior to playing him, has been praised by critics for saving the film, despite its flaws.

Timothée continued: ‘Bob is an elusive, mysterious figure and a man of few words so I never got the chance to meet him.

‘I would like to, but I am very respectful that it is true to his character that I would never get to meet him.’

Elle Fanning will star as Sylvie Russo, a renamed version of Bob’s girlfriend from the time while Monica Barbaro will play Joan Baez.

The movie centres on the singer-songwriter’s controversial switch to electric instruments at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965.

Timothée – who will be joined in the cast by Edward Norton and Boyd Holbrook – was confirmed to be doing his own singing in the movie after lending his vocals to his 2023 musical flick Wonka.

Director James Mangold confirmed that he has been working with Bob on the project and that the Hurricane singer had some personal input into the screenplay.

The тιтle — A Complete Unknown — is recognisable from Dylan’s rock anthem which changed his career, Like a Rolling Stone.

Just a few weeks ago Kylie and Timothée showed their affection for each other at the Golden Globes.

Kylie  was every inch the proud girlfriend as she joined him at his table inside the ceremony after completing an incredible Hollywood reinvention.

Jenner, who shares two children with rapper ex Travis Scott, has only been pictured with Chalamet at the most high-profile bashes since going public with their romance.

The usually private Hollywood couple took the opportunity to show off their love as they locked lips in the audience at the prestigious awards event.

Jenner skipped the red carpet but was sat next to Chalamet inside the bash at The Beverly Hilton H๏τel, proving their romance is continuing to flourish.

The Kardashians star and Dune actor have only been pictured together a handful of times since publicly launching their relationship in late 2023.

The power duo have picked only the most reputable events to attend together, including two Golden Globes ceremonies, the US Open and his Wonka premiere and have so far refused to share their romance on social media.

Typically choosing to keep their relationship out of the spotlight, the couple even sparked split rumours last summer after not being sighted together.

However, it seems the couple are actually just selective about what they choose to attend together after picking just a few events throughout their relationship.

In the past year, Jenner and Chalamet were pictured leaving the Museum of Modern Art in New York in December in June and the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood before Christmas in June.

At the Golden Globes Chalamet was nominated for his performance as Dylan in A Complete Unknown. However, the award ultimately went to Adrien Brody for The Brutalist

However, their last official public outing together was the Golden Globes at the beginning of last year. 

Inside Sunday’s event the couple made their rounds together as they mingled with other guests, with Chalamet sweetly holding Jenner’s hand as they walked. 

The lip kit mogul cut a busty figure in a low-cut metallic Versace silver dress, and wore her raven tresses cascading in bouncy loose locks.

Whilst Kylie looked typically glam, her more natural makeup look could be a nod to her low-key romance.

Fans have noticed in recent months that the makeup mogul has toned down her look since she’s been dating Timothee, and has even been sharing less and less Sєxy sH๏τs on social media.
