For Thursday’s event, Lawrence sported a grungy makeup look featuring smokey brown eyeshadow, smudged black eyeliner and a ɴuᴅᴇ lip.
Her cheeks had a youthful pink flush and her cheekbones were carved out with bronzing powder.
The pregnant star looked incredible as she posed up for pH๏τographers ahead of the LA screening.
Lawrence produced the Apple Original Films documentary with her producing partner Justine Ciarrocchi under her Excellent Cadaver banner, the production company she launched in 2018.
Helmed by Afghan director Sahra Mani, Bread & Roses captures the ‘experiences of Afghanistan’s women under the Taliban since they took control of Kabul,’ in August 2021, as per IMDb.
The film made its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2023.
Speaking to ᴅᴇᴀᴅline at the time, Lawrence revealed how the powerful documentary came to be.
‘I was watching the fall of Kabul on the news in 2021 and I told Justine, you know, we need to find somebody on the ground, that can get a camera in there,’ she recalled.

Lawrence confidently made her way down the red carpet.
It was Ciarrocchi who suggested Mani helm the project after watching her 2018 doc A Thousand Girls Like Me, which tells the story of an Afghan woman seeking justice after experiencing years of Sєxual abuse at the hands of her own father.
Lawrence agreed that Mani was the ‘perfect’ choice.
‘Not only is she from Afghanistan, but her documentary was just so incredible and moving. And I think her point of view, not to mention her camera abilities are remarkable,’ she told the outlet.
Lawrence also dished to the outlet about why a documentary like Bread & Roses was the clear next step for Excellent Cadaver.
‘What we want to do is just keep making things that we respond to, that we care about. We’re right at the genesis of the company so it’s hard to say what it is, or what it will be,’ she explained.
‘We’ll just keep following what’s important to us and what we want to make. We didn’t know what was going to happen in 2021 when the Taliban took over.
‘This film was born out of necessity, emotional necessity,’ the No Hard Feelings star concluded.
Lawrence reunited with producer pal Ciarrocchi at Thursday night’s premiere, which was held at the Hammer Museum.

Days before that, she made her red carpet debut since confirming her pregnancy at the premiere of the abortion documentary Zurawski v Texas, which she co-produced with Hillary Clinton.
On October 20, a rep for Lawrence confirmed to Vogue that she and husband Cooke are expecting their second child.
Lawrence and her husband have been married since 2019 and share two-year-old son Cy.
Last year a source told Us Weekly: ‘They’re thinking about having another child.’
