Kylie Jenner left fans puzzled as she promoted the newest additions to her Khy clothing line.
Jenner, 27, modeled her newest collection in two new videos shared to social media – but one clip really got followers scratching their heads.
One of the videos captured Kylie posing on a couch that was wrapped in transparent plastic as a tripod camera rolled.
But the setting didn’t sit right with several followers.
‘Looks like a crime scene. I didn’t like it,’ one follower wrote in the comments section.
‘The plastic on the couch is cringe but everything else is cute,’ another wrote.
The video unsettled several other followers, with several commenting ‘cringe’ while another remarked ‘so weird.’
One user wrote, ‘Im (sic) uncomfy.’
‘Girl just post normal pictures. These blurry videos we could barely see the clothing,’ one wrote.
In another video Kylie uploaded, she showcased an array of looks from her upcoming drop – including one which reminded one follower of an everyday article of clothing.
‘Is it a bath rob (sic) jacket,’ the fan wrote.
Overall, Kylie’s two videos received an overwhelming amount of support, with fans praising the reality star’s clothing collection.
The latest additions to Kylie’s fashion line will arrive as the company prepares to celebrate their one year anniversary.
‘we’re back. new @_namilia_ x khy coming 10/10 in celebration of our 1 year anniversary,’ the Khy account shared.
Kylie launched Khy in late October with a snap of her modeling a long black leather trench coat. ‘meet khy,’ she captioned the post.
Khy is the newest of Jenner’s business venture as she famously built her billion-dollar empire by selling Kylie Lip Kits, a liquid lipstick and lip liner set, back in 2015.
After a successful start, the company was renamed from Lip Kit by Kylie to it’s current name, Kylie Cosmetics, in 2016.
By 2018, Forbes reported the company to be valued at $800 million and then in March 2019 it rose to $900 million.
In 2019, Coty acquired a 51% stake in Kylie Cosmetics for $600 million, valuing the company at around $1.2 billion.
After watching her sisters succeed in the world of fashion, Jenner made the move into clothing with the soft launch of Khy in late October 2023.
After racking up tens of thousands of Instagram followers in less than 24 hours, Khy dropped its first-ever collection of 12 pieces.
While fronted by Kylie, the Khy company is actually a partnership with her mother, Kris Jenner, and Popular Culture’s Jens and Emma Grede, according to Teen Vogue.
The new clothing brand has been described as featuring wardrobe basics, staples, and investment pieces.
The Khy brand was first available to shop on November 1, 2023 via the brand’s website khy.com, which launched in collaboration with the Berlin-based gender-neutral brand Namilia, which was founded by Nan Li and Emilia Pfohl.
